Nice halter, but..., 1/8/2013

The photo looks like the leather is dark oil, it is actually black. Not really dark brown but BLACK. That was a disappointment, but I could deal with it (after all it is JUST a halter). I purchased purple average horse size and it is true to size. The leather is very, very soft and supple, BUT the nylon is single ply, and I have this bad feeling it won't last long. Overall not a bad halter for the money, and it is actually good looking but the leather is BLACK. Also, FYI the 8' poly lead they 'recommend' after you ad this item to your cart does NOT match, at least the purple doesn't. The lead is much more of a deep purple with a shine to it. The nylon on this halter is not shiny what-so-ever.

Pretty Halter, 12/20/2012

This is a pretty halter, it is a little thinner material than I thought but it will work just fine. I ordered the red one which comes with black leather. I ordered the large for my Percheron (draft horse halters are too big for her) and it fits with room to spare. The price was good and it fits so I am happy with it :)
