Not worth the great price, 3/1/2012

This sheet looks great and comes at a great price. I was excited when it got here. Unfortunately, it was a complete waste of money because it ripped after only two days. The entire front surcingle ripped right off, leaving a giant gaping hole. Not really worth fixing since the material was flimsy to begin with. My horse IS rough - but he is turned out alone. Unless your horse is very, very quiet I would not recommend this sheet.

Good Sheet for $$, 2/9/2012

I have bought Defender in the past with no problems. I haven't had it long so no complaints so far. With time would probably give it 4 stars. I was surprised as the cross surcingles didn't have the rubber keepers on the T-lock fasteners. I always keep extra parts so put those on. Was worried about my horse rubbing the tail cover off but the velcro is extra strength & a more heavy duty type. If I do start having a problem I can sew it on. For the price, you can't beat this sheet.

Excellent Blanket, 12/19/2011

I bought this, and it was just a bit flimsy, but not too bad so I used it. She ended up laying down in her stall, getting her hind leg under one of the belly straps, and standing up. She was/is fine, in her stall, waited patiently for someone to come untangle her. That being said, the blanket did not rip, tear, the buckles did not bend or break. Honestly not sure if that is a good thing or a bad! But it is clearly a strong well constructed Item. Light weight, nice looking, and in general a great buy for the money.

I was so excited to find such an inexpensive sheet, but I did not expect it to last only two weeks. My horse goes out alone, so I know she didn't rip it. It ripped at a seam telling me it is badly made. I would not recommend it.

This great looking sheet lasted exactly 24 hours. My horse is turned out along - so I know it wasn't just rough play. It's only 600 denier and even though it's a great price, you definitely get what you pay for. I would not recommend to anyone!!!

Good but a few faults., 11/10/2011

I like this sheet a lot, it serves it's purpose well for my horse, but my horse is a real trickster and loves to undo things. He isnt very good at it but loves to try. He will nip at the belly strap holders and they will come undone somehow is what i believe happens but it could also be that they just fall out when he moves. I have had to repair it multiple times because the straps come undone and drag on the ground where he can step on them.
