I was just wondering if this would fit on my 7 yr old quater horse welsh, shes about the size of a welsh cob, just wondering what size i should get? is it worth it? or is this fly mask cheaply made?

I thought this flymask was absolutely adorable and I'd read several reviews saying how durable it was. I figured for $13 I could get a good flymask that my horse would keep on for a while. However, in the very first 24 hours I had this flymask, my horse had managed to lose it in the field (not in the trees) and when I found it the seam was already tearing. Perhaps mine was a particularly defective product, but I got what I paid for. I didn't like how it fit, and I didn't particularly like how there was no fleece around the nose and poll. I would spend the extra money and get a better quality fly mask.

in the span of one summer, my horse went through several fly masks, his stall neighbor would help him pull it off over the water trough, shredding it in the process. Having previous experience with defender (Had a fly mask last 3-4 years on a horse in pasture) Tried this one! Has yet to get a hole. It does run a little big, so I would still occasionally find it in the water trough, but overall happy with it! The elastic velcro gives me peace of mind that my horse will be able to chew freely/won't get it stuck on something.
Would DEFINITELY purchase again. If your horse has a more refined "show horse" head, Go with a small, but for most QH's I think the medium fit's fine :)

This really is a great fly mask. I had used it on my mare in the summer during the days that the flies were really bad. The mask is very durable. Over all I really like it and would recommend it. However, I think it does run a little big but it wasn't bad at all but my paint mare has a little baby doll type head. Hope my review helps some folks a little.

I want to thank the reviewers on this mask I too have a large TB built mare who takes a size large in everything. After reading the reviews that it runs large I decided on a medum and glad I did-it fits her like it was made for her and her head is huge but not draft huge. I have had many Defender fly masks I know it will last a couple seasons. The clearance price is unbelievable! wish there were pony sizes. I will prb order my mare the other two styles because the price cant be beat. thanks.

i bought the daisy design for my gray throughbred and she loves it! it has ear covers which is awesome and everyone at the barn loves it. My horse started a fashion trend :) it is also super easy to clean and it keeps the flys off. i love it and highly reccomend it to anyone.

Bought this for my leased horse - every other fly mask was missing the day after putting it on, but not this one! He looked awesome in it and it stayed on!

Purchased the Daisy mask and it looks oh so cute on my 16.1 TB gelding (I'm sure he'd disagree). It was a little big so next time I'll buy a M not a L. Works great... I couldn't be happier!

I bought the large one with the flower for my draft cross. She's a girly girl.She did go out and roll in the mud after a rain storm. It was so eazy to clean. Adorable!!!

I bought the large size heart sunglasses for my 16hh TB/Perch mare, who normally wears "warmblood" sized things. It's a bit large but I much prefer that to being too small. She really likes it and doesn't sweat under it. In case people are wondering, the heart sunglasses are pink sunglasses with three hearts inside the "lense". It looks adorable on her and everyone knows which mask is hers!
