Rated 1 out of 5 by Mule Mom Didn't Work for Me
I bought three of these for a total of 12 wraps. I put 4 on one of my mules, 4 on my QH and 2 on another mule (fronts) and the last 2 on another QH (again, fronts).
Of the 12, 5 bands broke off within less than 24 hours - I was only able to find three in the pasture. One was ripped a bit and had apparently come unsnapped, the other two were just ripped. The plastic material that they are made from is, in my opinion, not even close to being durable enough for an average active equine.
Oddly enough, the mule that had all 4 on, kept them on until I removed them about 5 days later. They were removed because I found them to be ineffective as I could see flies feasting on his legs within 1/4 of the bands. The package stated that they would last up to 2 months if kept dry. We did have dry weather during the period in question.
Hopefully others have better luck with their fly management, for me, I'll save my money and just use the standard leg wraps.

I've had these on my horse for a few weeks, and he now has sores on all 4 legs from where they've rubbed. Two of them have torn in half (still snapped together) and the repellent inside them has fallen out. The other 2 are starting to tear.
The snaps were easy to use at first, but they got clogged with dirt and very quickly became very difficult to put on/take off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Tery Some improvement needed
I tired the neck band on 3 different horses, the best I got was 2 weeks on one horse. The leg bands work good at repelling flies which made me really happy but again they don't last that long, breaking where the plastic meets the fly repellent part. I think if they could improve the product it would be AWESOME! The idea is a good one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by holly great product.
I have my young stallion out for training. The bugs were chewing his legs up so they were bleeding. I put these on and in one weeks time not one new bite. So far they are great, one thing is they should put stronger snaps on them, but for keeping the bugs away they are working great.

I was excited to try the fly bands, they worked great at first, but after Lacey my horse
wore them for just over a week
they cracked and broke in half
snaps were still in place. So what i did was to call the company that made them, R & R Group, I thought that maybe they would send me a replacement of there product, but no such luck, all the person i talked with said there was nothing they could do for me. No satisfaction>
