Product Summary:
An exceptional show circuit coat, and a part of the Devon-Aire USPC line of affordable riding apparel. Softly brushed, light weight, easy care polyester twill looks like wool. Easy care soil-release finish. Designed with a fully lined traditionally correct tailored fit with real outside pockets, double vent, notched lapel and relaxed arm holes. Dry clean. Imported.

About Riding Coats
The classic riding coat design begins with a close fitting style that flares slightly over the hips. Traditional hunt seat style has two vents, Dressage and coats used for multi-discipline are single vented. In a seated position, with arms in front, the sleeves should hit around the wrist bone.

Most coats are easily tailored to give correct length for each rider's need. The shoulder should allow for crest release, with arms requiring forward extension. Make sure that your long sleeve riding shirt cuff shows between 1/4" and 1/2" below the coat sleeve.

Waaay too small, 3/12/2012

I ordered a size 7 for my 10 year old, 5'1" 115 lb daughter, and guess what? It didn't fit! She usually wears as size 16 child top, but apparently not for show coats! I went by the sizing chart for this coat, and still no luck. I might have been better going to a tack shop and paying their higher price than all the return shipping.

Too Small, 3/6/2012

I measured my 5'2 115 lb daughter for this coat using the sizing chart. It said she was a size 7 (she actually wears a size 16 girls or size 3 teen) I figured it would fit because I went by the chart, but no way! It was smaller than the child's size 16 I already had to return! To say this runs small is a HUGE understatement, and the sizing chart doesn't help much either. You should order at least 1-2 sizes bigger than the chart says (which is probably many sizes up from what you usually wear)

Great coat but sizing wrong, 9/23/2011

I am very small, a 5 foot tall size 1. When I measured myself, I looked at the sizing charts, and ordered a size 5 since thats what measurements matched for me (in fact it should have been a bit big). Instead when it came it was WAY too small. I had to return it and order it two sizes bigger for it to fit me. I love the new one, its perfect, but getting it was a hassle and I didn't appreciate having to pay the extra money to ship it back just because the sizing chart was wrong.

This Hunt Coat!, 7/1/2007

This hunt coat is really nice. If you are into HunterJumpers, you should definitely try on this coat itll make you feel like a professional! I like the way it looks, not too fancy, not like a cheap jacket.
