This product is terrible. Entirely too small for horses, the construction is poor and not worth the price at all.

I like that it slows the horses down and is quick to feed the horses with the grazer.
We added diamond plate to the front because my horse struck the front to shake out the small pieces that got stuck in the frame. Also it needs guides for the plate to stay on track better. We hung it on Noble feeder doors by hanging the doors upside down. Then bolting the grazers on the feeder doors. Makes it easy to clean under them, but the horses can not get their feet or heads under it at the level we hung them. The feeder doors swing in for easy loading. Swing back in place. Are secured and they are fed. I could send pictures if you give me your e-mail. My husband is very innovative with building and fixing things.

Best feeder for horses we have found--we've tried everything. Slows our speed eater down, eliminates waste and keeps their water trough clean (no more hay tossed in the water). Slight drawback is the build-up of fine hay when mounted on the floor. Once blocked and mounted off the floor less build-up and cleaning was much easier. On my way to ordering more of these. Great product!!

This was much smaller than I expected--only holds about 3 flakes when shoved totally full. I use it with my goats and it has been great, but with a horse I would worry about them stepping in it and getting stuck, and it's too heavy to hang higher.

Overall, this thing is great! I ordered two and put them in my thoroughbreds' stalls to slow down their eating and reduce their boredom. Works great! My big mare DID managed to pull the grate off a couple of times, but I got longer bolts to keep in in place, which solved the problem.
My only complaint is that the hardware to put the grazer together was not bagged, so some pieces were missing when it arrived due to a hole in the box.

I have had the Grazer now for almost 10 years and just love it, and so do my horses. I now own 4 grazers for each of my boys. Two of them have been kept outdoors in the paddock and they are still functioning really well. Had to replace one grate on one grazer as the pin mechanism is weak. The grazers do need to be cleaned weekly as hay dust will clog the mesh and will prevent the springs from lifting the hay. Less waste of hay, less mess.

I bought this for my horse a few weeks ago. I have mats on his stall floor, and used to feed his hay on the floor so he could eat with his head down. Putting the hay in his corner feeder resulted in a mess on the floor anyway. The hay on the floor created a "mouse city" and created extra work for me to clean up what he had trampled. Now he eats what is in his feeder. No more mess on the floor, no more extra time cleaning up the wasted hay, no wasted money, and I can easily sweep his stall now. The mice have left too. I don't know why I didn't buy this sooner. Very well made, easy to load and to put together. It slows my horse down, and prolongs his time spent eating, instead of vacuuming up his food. My horse and I are very happy with this product.
