The great thing about reviews are how everyone gets to share their personal opinions and experiences, and personally I'd never buy a thing without one! In my opinion, this really is a great saddle pad. My 20 year old high withered, high spined appendix mustang cross had no complaints...and he loved to complain about spinal and shoulder pressure! I didn't so much as get a tail flick out of him! As for all the comments on the shape, I have a 7 year old wintec2000 all purpose saddle and its like that particular saddle and pad were made to fit together! Perfect fit all the way around! Hope that helps someone out there decide if the shape is best for them!

I love this saddle pad so much, I have had a white one for almost 4 years, and it has not been damaged at all! You can put it in your washing machine+dryer, and that seems to do the trick. My only dislike of this product is that dirt stains don't come out very easily. Overall, I would definitely recommend it! ( Just don't drop it is the mud!! :P )

Other reviews were not kidding when they say this pad is HUGE. it's seriously massive. my mare is 15.1, kinda stocky, and it just makes her look dwarfish. it's very nice quality though, and is otherwise lovely.

I contacted customer service yesterday, asking if they still sold this item, and they said they still sell it in both black and white. I just thought I would let you know so the review before this review doesn't stop you from buying this great saddle pad. My friend has two of these, one for schooling and one for showing, and she loves them! They hold up very well and still look brand new after a year and many washings!I just ordered mine and can't wait to get it!

I ordered this item 10/13 and was told it was "temporarily oversold" but would deliver around 11/1. November 1st came and went, then the due date got pushed to 11/21. Needless to say I didn't get it 11/21 either. I finally cancelled the order TWO MONTHS after I placed it and I was told that statelinetack no longer sold this item. Get something else because you will NEVER get this saddlepad! Also, customer service never offered any sort of compensation other than a half-hearted apology.

Okay...the pad looks nothing like the picture shown. I was shocked when I got it, because I expected better quality based on the image I saw. It's very thin, aswell. Don't buy this pad.

This is a great pad and all BUT it doesn't "line up" correctly with the outline of the saddle. i've been using it for awhile and this saddle pad is very large, yes IS GOOD for all sizes and i personally think it was made for jumping saddles because of its odd shape fits the outline of a jumpers saddle much more then a everything or even close contact which I've tried both with the same result. I do like this pad and it is useable and is a good wither relief but i only MAINLY suggest it for jumpers unless you want weird folds in the back just to make it line up. This pad is amazing! It keeps your horse cool, and there is minimum sweating. The straps are situated perfectly, and it is attractive for show. But it makes a nice chew toy for a puppy. I was very sad when my puppy chewed it up. Going to buy another one of these pads. BUY IT NOW!

I have owned this pad for about three years now and it is great! Its my first show pad abd I still use it today! I love how well it fits my cc saddle and it fits ap saddles too. I can just throw it in the washer and it comes out super clean. The only thing is that after these years and washings the stuffing has begun to bunch up and move inside the pad. Overall I would definantly recomend this pad for anyone looking for a great show pad!

I use this pad for everything, even shows. Although it looked a bit large upon receiving it, the pad fits perfectly - I use it as an under/back-relief pad for everyday use and alone for hot summer days and shows. Not only is it pleasing to the eye, it also stays quite clean and keeps your horse dry and dirt free. Definately a thumbs up buy.

When I first got this I thought it was wayyy too big and funny shaped. But suprisingly it fit my jumping saddle perfectly. Ive used it on Qhs, tbs, ponies all with the same result. They all love it and are comfortable!! Great pad!

it is a nice pad. i like to use the girth loop but this one is too far forward i didn't like that. it's good quality though. i've had it for 4 years and it's still pretty new. i think the price is to high for what it really is. it has a weird shape.

BUY THIS SADDLE PAD!!! I love this pad! I got this pad about 3 months ago. When I first got it I thought it was to big, but it fit my saddle great I have a large ap saddle. And it gave the extra amount of cushoning I wanted. It has velcrow straps so it won't move, but the girth loop is a little far forward so I don't use it. But don't let it stop you from buying this pad because it doesn't really make that big of a difference. This pad also has great stitching it has held up very well. It wicks away sweat from my horse so he is never sweaty. BUY THIS SADDLE PAD!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I got this pad for shows. It has a strange shape, and the girth loop is too far forward to even use it. Overall the pad is too long on the flaps, and a bit too long in the back length. It never stays in place, and always slides back. It's very cushiony and would appear to be comfortable to the horse, but if it slides back to the point where it doesn't provide shoulder cushioning, it really isn't doing it's job anyway.

my instructor got this pad in white for a mare at my barn like 6-8 years ago. and we use it at shows, everyday riding, everything. it's the only pad she's used since she got it. and it's stood up super well. there aren't any rips in it, just the girth loops are way off. we don't even use them cause their so far forward. but other that that's it's great. i would def recomment this to anyone.

I bought this pad on sale, as a show pad. I used it in all the shows I've been in. The quality is wonderful but the shpe is just plain wierd. I have an evnting saddle and a close contact saddle. It fits the event saddle wonderfully but there are gaps with the other one. It's a great pad, EXCEPT, the shape is just plain odd. I've only ever ridden narrow horses in this pad, and the girth loop is too far forward, and it folds up! In one place, on the left back curve and then on the back. It folds in between the padding of my saddle and near where the seat meets the flap. The only way I can think of to fix this is to cut theplace where it folds then attempt to sew it back up correctly. I really love the quality of this pad but I advise a different pad. Very high end, but a sloppy job of putting it together.

I have had this pad in white for 6 years, Its a great pad to lay over one of my flat pads for a horse with a sway back, and it looks nice enough to show in. Fits my saddle great, very thick but still keeps good contact. Can get if for same price at a tack shop though.

I bought this pad when it was on sale for $9.99. When I first got it it seemed big. Sure enough when I put it under my saddle on my Saddlebred, it looked very weird. The slit for the girth is very far forwad, not as shown in the picture. If the pad was shapped a little better Id love it. I use it for training but would never use it for a show. If you have a larger horse/saddle maybe you wouldnt have a problem.

I bought one of these when they were on clearance for $10. I never thought they would be this amazing. They wick away all the sweat on my pony so that hes not a sticky mess after a long gallop. I will definately buy these again!

For an english show jumping or all purpose saddle this pad to too big! Would probably be ideal for a dressage saddle. On my AP saddle there was 4-6 inches of clearance in some areas.

I was a little skeptical on buying this pad because I tend to go for the higher priced items...I bought (my first) one for $9.99 on super sale--and it was SO worth it! It's nice and thick, the waffle material is durable. And the fleece edging gives it the "finished" look around your saddle. The fleece is by no means a high quality fleece--but it looks nice when it's in use. I have a 17.5" XL flap close contact Barnsby that also has a more forward flap than most--and this is the only shaped pad I have had success getting to fit it properly. I went from getting one for $9.99 to spending the full price on another in the other color! Very happy with it (now if only they would do the same design with REAL sheepskin!). Thanks Pro-craft for an affordable, fitting shaped pad. :)

I bought this pad about a year and a half ago, and it has held up quite well. The only downside is the fleece sheds, so I am constanly picking up little balls of black fluff off my floor after washing it. Very easy to clean in the washer, and nice and thick. It does tend to get a little brown on the undersides if not washed often, due to the horse sweat. I am overall satisfied.

I got 2 in both colors. I actually like the make of the pad but it seems a little big under my close contacts and the strap for my girth to go threw is way to far forward so I don't even use it. Other then that I like it and my horse seems to also.

This pad is amazing. Not only is it pretty, but it also supplies the protection and comfort to my horse. It has a lot of padding. It is soft. Since the padding isn't complete fluff, it makes my horse not sweat so much. It's big to. So it fits almost any saddle, and looks good. Get it. I wrote this for my sister's horse. Haha. :)

This pad fits every saddle I've ever had, and provides the optimum amount of cushioning. At this price I cannot believe it. I bought one, and now I want one for each horse I ride. I've had mine for over a year now and I ride in it often and it's still holding up like it was brand new. BUY THIS PAD!

I have an eventing saddle that is very hard to fit a saddle pad to. The fit couldn't be any better and it is nice and cushy, making it comfortable for my horse! Stylish and cleans easily. I bought another one!

This is the best saddle pad I have seen! This pad is to replace one I recently bought simular to it but it was damaged after the first wash. This one is very thick and is put together so much better at a fraction of the cost. I have loved all Procraft items I have ever bought. You won't be disappointed.

This is such a nice saddle pad but, my trainer said that it was a honker of a saddle pad. i thought it would able to go on top of a square pad and still see the print on the square pad, but it was too big. Overall it's real swell

I needed an allpurpose pad for my monoflap saddle. This one is not only nice looking and has decent thickness for the price, but it has a strap that is the full width of the flap so it stays secure when riding. The size and shape are perfect for my allpurpose saddle. Highly recommended.

These are great pads, I agree the fleece isn't real fluffy, but it still works great. Comfy, fits all of my english saddles of different sizes, and helps prevent rubbing on my horse's back. I've used them for showing and they are great - they also clean up nicely going through the washer.

A beautiful pad for all occasions. Schooling or show worthy. The fleece isn't as fluffy as some name brands, but who cares! Great price, I bought another one so I could have both white and black, I use it everyday!
