Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceeds expectations Lightweight, comfortable for horse & rider, yet secure and seems sturdy. Am trailriding with it, prefer it to Abetta which I also really liked. No knee pain with these stirrups, but legs will be pinched until you get used to the narrow straps--try breeches. You'll also need a sticky/tacky pad to hold in place (I've not been using breast collar). However, I do prefer a western girth; the 32" buckle girth that came with the saddle may be too big for some horses (it is too big for one of my horses). Still, for the price, this is a great option--I trail ride for hours at a time in hilly terrain, am well satisfied. April 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product I was sold this exact bareback pad and told it was a trail saddle. I was only 13 and just got my first horse so I didn't know any better. This saddle only works if your horse is bombproof! It slides back and forth when you lope and gallop. It velcros together so if your horse isn't good with the sound of LOUD Velcro noise, I would not recommend. I found it to be the equivalent of a poorly made English saddle so if you are looking for a bareback pad this is not it. This saddle fits light arena work only April 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most comfortable saddle ever! Never wrote a review for anything, but this deserves one. It does take a little while to get used to, and if you can't ride exceptionally well on a regular bareback pad, I wouldn't recommend it. That said, if you are an experienced rider of all types, you will probably never want to use another saddle again. I went back once to my very comfortable dressage/trail saddle, and the next day my butt was sore! And I never got sore before, even riding 5 hours at a time! Saddle is so comfortable. Almost unbelievably so. But beware: trotting and cantering on this saddle is for experienced riders only. March 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by very nice! I love this saddle. Very well made. Comfortable for me and the horse. The stirrups are secure unlike other bareback pads, and the seat has alot of "stick" to it. It cinched on both my guys nice and tight and didn't roll. I am very happy with this saddle. October 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT SADDLE!!! I have searched high and low for a saddle to fit my Paso Fino and still be comfortable for me. I have gone through numerous saddles! This is a wonderful saddle for both of us. I use it with a thin felt pad. It stays where it is supposed to be on his back and it is extremely comfortable for me. The only thing I would change is the stirrup adjusters. I got bruises on the front of my calves from them. I just bought a pair of the Wintec Webbers. Hopefully that will solve the problem.... GREAT PRODUCT!!! Fits any horse and it is extra comfy for me!!! LOVE IT!!!! October 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Success At Last! I have a draft cross that has been a nightmare to find a saddle for. I've tried several barebacks with mild success...either he or I was unhappy or uncomfortable. I settled on the western he came with (full qtr flex tree wide) which fit him ok, but made me sore. Then I saw this and gave it a try. Success At Last! Not only does it fit him like a glove, but it's great for me as well. I also use it with my Foundation Q.H. and mammoth donkey. Money well spent and not much at that! Funny thing is, I think the girth weighs more than the saddle. July 27, 2012
