I have an Arab who is nearly impossible to tube worm, and this seemed to be a broader spectrum.

Can I worm male sheep with the pelleted Type C Durafend wormer? That is what they sold me at the feed store today. Ginger
A shopper on May 22, 2015
Best Answer: I don't know anything about sheep. I know that they can't have the copper that horses and cattle can, but I don't know if there are other ingredients that would be detrimental to them.

Is this a daily wormer or how often it is to be fed to the horse? I have one very old stubborn gelding that refuses to let a worming syringe near his head and my horses don't get grain every day
sandy e on Feb 28, 2014
Best Answer: It's not a daily wormer. Every 6-8 weeks, I believe. I too have an old stubborn gelding like you describe, and mine gobbled this stuff down, no problem. It doesn't have praziquantel in it (for tapeworms) though....and you have to give 2 bags to kill one other parasite listed on package.
