For the price, this product does work wonderfully. I've got three of them here and have had no breakage issues. They are very adjustable and can change to fit different horses easily. Easy to wash and keep clean. The only thing I didn't care for (and this is just because of what it's made of!) is the smell of it when you first get it. Let it air out awhile before putting it on your horse!

I love this and it works great! I can keep my ponies out with the other horses and not worry about her eating too much! I do have to replace it about once a year just from normal wear/tear but other than that it's works well. You just have to make sure it is tight enough not to slip off!

i got this for my 10 yr old mare. it worked fine at first, then the plastic adjustment piece broke. it rubbed her skin and caused her to bleed. ive managed to fix the muzzle for now. Also, since she has a pink nose, and the rubber on the bottom of the muzzle has stained her nose soot black. this product is very cheep and I sugest buying a nicer brand or product. NOT IMPRESSED.

The first day I got this, it did smell like rubber and chemicals, So i soaked it and rinsed it with a hose for a few minutes (lots of soap like bubbles came off so definitely not something I'd put on my horses face right off without washing it). I put it on my horse and turned him out. He took the longest time to figure out he could eat while wearing it, but so far hes doing well with it. It fits well after adjusting it and doesn't come off. Its been about 2 weeks of daily use and it shows no wear at all. The hole in the bottom is still fine, not getting bigger like other reviews have said. My horse tends to huff and puff with this thing on because ventilation isn't the best. My horse does fine with it, but if you have a horse with breathing problems, pick another muzzle. Overall a great product and will hopefully take the extra weight off my 17 year old QH!

My horses figured out they could roll and slip it over their ears and off. Great if it stays on.

My vet suggested we put a grazing muzzle on our fat pony--I ordered this one and she began to lose weight--then I noticed that she started to put the weight back on.
Upon checking the muzzle, I found that in only one month she had worn out two rubber straps along the bottom of the muzzle, so she was eating all she wanted again. Very disappointed.

I used this product on my mini and it lasted less than a month. The other horses and he would play rough and somehow they tore the sides out. One of the other horses would undue the velcro and take it off of the mini. Needless to say it didn't hold up well.

After 6 weeks of use, the velcro closure lost its grip and the muzzle fell off in the pasture. Tried it again, but kept falling off. Rubbed the hair off in several spots on my horses face. Fleece halter pads have helped somewhat with the rubbed spots. Did help my horse decrease his weight while keeping him on pasture. If they fix the velcro and prevent the rubs, would be a good product.

I have a cresty neck, founder horse. Was not sure if he would tolerate a muzzle. So I got the cheapest one I could find to try it out and see how it went. Once I got it adjusted correctly so it would stay on my guy has done very well with it. The only negative thing I would say about it is that my guy was able to wear the hole out in just a few weeks.

i use these on my minis. my minis rub on the fence alot to try and get the muzzle off and it tears up the velcro and breaks the plastic parts so i use leather rivets and repair them for use. they break them in a few weeks and after repairs they will last about a year. for as hard as my minis are on these muzzles they are very good and as far as smell they will get used to it wich is not bad
