Good concept, poor quality, 10/12/2010

Thought this would be a good idea in an effort to organize my tack room. When I got the product I was pretty disappointed. I made the special effort to buy a product made in the USA, thinking that the quality would be much better than the cheaper made in China products. This rack came in with lots of scrapes in the paint with rust patches starting. The arm tubes have metal burrs left inside from machining so that when you slide them down the vertical mounting bar, they scratch the paint more and hang up a little when swinging the bars out. This will ultimately cause rust as well and I expect that the "swingability" will get stiff after a while. For a product that is going to be used for moist sweaty blankets, I would have expected something painted better. Hopefully the rusty areas will not put rust marks on my light colored blankets ...UGH!
