I am so excited to write this review!!!, 12/25/2012

B-L Pellets from Sunbury, OH

I have a 34 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He is retired now, but was the best lesson horse ever. In the past couple of years he has really slowed down and has been so stiff and looking so uncomfortable. I have been looking and reading about anything I could find to make him more comfortable so his life would be more enjoyable, not only for him, but for us having to watch him in his discomfort. I read the reviews on B-L Pellets. Actually the packaging caught my eye first. I decided it seemed like the perfect product to try for my old boy. I started him on B-L Pellets on 11/9/12. I wrote it on the board. In the past few weeks, I have not been able to put Dudley in his normal paddock because he is running, bucking and tearing around like a two year old, destroying the grass!! I am THRILLED!!! You cannot believe this is the same horse. He lays down and rolls (something he would not do because he was so stiff and couldn't get up easily). Now he pops up and immediately takes off. This is one of the best supplements we are feeding in our barn! Thank you.

Wow, 12/23/2012

HEATHER SALAMONE from McMinnville, TN

Wow is all I can say. I have an aged(over 15) QH/TB that I rescued. I have had her one year, in that time she has been sound maybe a couple weeks. I had an equine chiro work on her and that helped some, then I got her the B-L pellets and within a couple days she is super sound and actually kicking up her heels and being a little bit of a brat! I am thrilled and am about to buy more of this product, I don't ever want to run out.

OMG OMG FANTASTIC!, 11/22/2012

D. Wilson from Crab Orchard, kY

I adopted/rescued an 18 year old stiff, front end gimpy mare. She was a retired competition horse. Did it all, been there done that. I`m 62 and I just wanted an old horse to walk around the trails on. I felt sorry for her so I took her. I was even afraid to ride her more then 10 minutes at a time and rested her because she acted so very old and stiff. I tried joint suppliments and saw no improvement after using an entire tub of them (during a months period). Then I tried the B-L pellets. OMG, in just 3 days this horse is TROTTING, AND CANTERING!! I used to have to pull her to get her to walk with me, she was so slow and stiff it took me FOREVER just to get her from one place to another. Now she has so much pep in her step. I was walking at her side and I began to trot to see what she would do, she trotted so fast with me I could hardly keep up with her. And usually I`m dragging her around like an old stuffed toy. What a pleasure now. I am so happy for her,(and me). She must have been in such pain. Now shes like a new horse. I love this product and my old girl will be on it for life. Oh and it seems to taste fantastic too. If your in any doubt then just get a smaller tub, you will be back for more before it runs out, guaranteed!

Donkey finally & safely comfortable, 10/18/2012

Beth from Monterey, VA

My 10yr old donkey has a cracked scapula. I used Bute for a while to settle the pain, but switched to B-L Pellets a few months ago. I'm ordering more tonight!!! She is barely limping at all now. I do have to give her a little more than recommended for her weight. Starting to cut back now since she is doing so well and hopefully finally healing.

An affordable more natural remedy that really work, 9/13/2012

Carrie from Chattaroy, WA

My horse has navicular disease and had previously been on bute for pain. I have been able to keep her completely OFF the bute and only on this supplement (B-L Pellets). It has worked very well for my horse and she shows me every day by galloping and bucking around the pasture, which she never did before :-) Very happy with this supplement. Easier on her stomach and easier on my wallet than the Bute was.

It didn't help my old boy, 5/3/2012

BarbB from Scottsville, KY

After reading all the great reviews, I thought I'd try something new for my old boy with arthritis. I had high hopes that this would help him out but I'm sorry to say it didn't do a thing for him.

Wonderful Product, 3/1/2012

J.T Old Man from Kneeland,CA

My 30 year old American QH has been on B-L pellets for 4 years, Showing, team penning and being a schooling horse has taken a toll on his joints. B-L keeps him comfortable, moving smoothly and happily in his retirement years. One happy horse equals one happy horse owner.

She's like new!, 12/20/2011

Kerri from The County, Maine

Our 17 year old QH mare was getting increasingly stiff and was on a Glucosamine/MSM/HA supplement. She was diagnosed with mild-moderate arthritis in her hocks so we tried this before thinking about Legend, etc. After roughly a week of being on this, she was tearing up the pasture with our OTTB. This has helped us get her back into exercise again and we are so grateful! She gobbles this up and licks her bowl =)

Amazing!, 11/13/2011

KATHY CIESLAK from IL

I have only just started my horse on B-L Pellets and have already seen dramatic improvements. He is 22 years old and has arthritis. We began using the B-L Solution as an alternative to bute when he was worked hard and found that it worked very well. Recently, possibly because of the cold damp weather, his arthritis has gotten significantly worse. We decided to start giving him B-L regularly and decided on the pellets since they are easier to feed. The difference has been impecable. He has more energy, more forward gaits and hes even rushing fences for the first time ever. Also, since the arthritis was especially bad in his front left leg he was always reluctant to pick up his left lead. Now he picks it up every time. My barn owner even said that he saw him running around in the pasture for the first time ever.It is also well priced. Don't spen hundreds of dollars on ceytl-m or cosequin until you've tried this product. I strongly recommend this product!!

Really Great For Arthritic Horses, 10/30/2011

Westernbabe from Oxford, OH

A vet who did some chiropractic work on my 27 year old Tennessee Walking Horse highly recommended this product. She is really into holistic ways of helping the horse. Since my mare has arthritis and ring bone in one leg, she said I could give this to her daily and eliminate Bute. Unlike Bute, this will not cause health issues with extended use like stomach ulcers. She said it would take 3-4 days to see a difference. I couldn't believe it! Sundae eats this right along with her feed and walks & runs so much better. The vet told me this works for the majority of horses, so you should give it a try if you have problems with your horse.

Can't believe the difference, 7/2/2011

Renegabby from Princetown, NY

My 20 yr old Oldenburg has had a swollen right knee for the 6 yrs I have owned her. I have had several vets check it and xrays but could find nothing wrong. No lameness but she seemed stiffer the last 2 yrs and wind puffs have appeared on the front and side of the knee. She is on joint supplements and Hyaulonic acid which have helped. She is very forward so I wasn't too concerned but decided to give BL Pellets a try to see if it would alleviate any swelling or discomfort. Four doses is all it took. After the first dose she was really rearing to go, the second dose and the wind puffs were down, third dose and the one on the side was gone and now the knee looks normal. I regret having waited so long to help her out. I honestly did not expect the results I got but this stuff is amazing!!

Amazing Results, 12/26/2010

LAURA LANG from Northeast, OH

I have a Standardbred and we all know the beating their legs take. Mine also had a broken shoulder when he was a baby. The cold weather was very painful for him until I found this product. He runs and bucks and plays in the snow and I haven't seen any adverse effects in two years. I highly recommend this product.

Awesome, 12/10/2010

Helen from Murrieta, CA

My older mare has an old hock injury that causes her pain. None of the joint supplements have done much good for her, but we noticed her move out much better after only a week of this stuff. She's much more forward and eager to work. I've been using it for about two months now - she isn't even stiff in the cold weather anymore. Great product!

This is the best, 8/13/2010

Debbe from

I own a 31 yr old and 28 yr old that are still trail riding and leading the group without problems. My 31 yr old is nicked named the "Character" as he jumps the 3 ft fence between pastures when he wants. He has arthritis in his front hocks from being a cutting horse on a working ranch in Oklahoma. My 28 yr old is a retired polo pony with springhalt and stiff stifles. But you would never know it. Without this supplement, they would not even be able to roam the pasture, they both are always kicking up their heels. Many of the other horse owners in the barn have started using this product. Whenever asked about the secret for my horses I always attribute it to BL Supply.

saved my Quarter Horse, 3/24/2010

Kristen Zeman from

I have a 15 year old Quarter Horse that had been ridden hard in his lifetime (an ex ranch horse to a whip's horse for foxhunting). I tried many joint supplements along with bute and when he retired I then tried BL solution and pellets. I wish I would have tried it earlier! He has mild navicular as well as arthritis in his hocks, a stifle issue and now is barefoot. He moves much better when on Bl pellets...I truly think that if it were not for this product, I may have had to euthanize him as he was becoming more crippled. But he is still going strong...no lameness and is taking it easy on trail rides which he loves. No more limping, no more crabby attitude AND he is usually a picky eater, but eats this. THANK YOU BL Pellets for giving my horse an alternative to injections and bute!!!

Awesome!, 6/22/2009

Kacey from Los Altos, CA

My 15 year old Arab was dragging his rear hooves at the trot and showing obvious signs of stiffness. I was told to try this product by a friend whose horse has stiffness in his neck. I give 1oz per day in Ben's lunch and he is completely sound, feeling great, and flying around the trails! Thank you for making my boy feel better!

It's Got To Be In Your Barn!, 3/27/2009

Lizz from Maine

I love B-L Pellets! I have two horses a QH/Paint and a Dutch Warmblood both that have joint issue but with B-L pellets they are great. I have no complants. B-L Pellets support my horses where they need them the most, whether it's on the trails, in the show ring on just around the ring. I LOVE B-L Pellets.

Diane Huss from Gages Lake IL

a customer recommended this product to me for my older FEI dressage horse.the price was right so I figured, why not?I already have him on aspirin and a variety of joint supplements. He showed great improvement in a matter of days, with lots more energy and a much better degree of soundness. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with an older or arthritic horse.

B-L pellets Wins, 9/1/2008
Dr. Sandy from Tucson, AZ

I have a 34yr old Clydesdale cross gelding who has arthritis and issues with pitted edema. I've tried using a variety of both natural and medicinal treatments in conjunture with accupuncture and other alternative therapies. NOTHING has worked as well for him as B-L pellets. He is FULLY sound and has minimal edema with just one scoop (1oz)/day and nothing else. Thank you B-L!!!

BL Pellets, 8/6/2008

Sheila from Central Illinois

BL Pellets have helped my mare begin to become more ambulatory. She was having some difficulty walking due to arthritis and age. It is refreshing to see her getting around better and getting out to the pasture on a more regular basis. I was disappointed to see the 10# out of stock when I was ready to reorder.

Fabulous Alternative to Bute, 5/28/2008

I have used this product for about 2 years. My gelding has a stifle issue and it has really helped. I do not like administering Bute long term as it cause severe health issues. this is a great natural alternative. I recommended this 4 hoof's up!
