I am usually a bit doubtful of getting great quality compared to pictures online. This saddle is great in quality and comfort. I hope it lasts a long time. It looks like it should.

I've got a Shire horse who has very high withers, and is not built particularly wide. His current saddle is a bit low in the back. This saddle looks lovely, but does anyone know how well it would fit a high-withered horse? Also, I'm only 5'1'' and not very large, what size recommendations would anyone have?

I'm a western rider, but recently acquired a rescue horse who is english, so I purchased this saddle in hopes for myself and my new little arab mare to have a good ride. It's great. I got the 18 inches, and any larger would be too big on her, but that's the size which is good for me since my western saddle size is 16 inches. She rides wonderfully with it on, and I'm loving this comfort saddle now more than my western. It also cleans up very nicely.

I love riding in this saddle. I ride a TW cross, with higher withers, and this saddle fits him like a dream. The only downfall I see with this saddle is that on some horses it sits rather high, and I prefer to sit closer to the horse. Very sturdy, well built saddle with lots of rings to tie stuff to.

My trainer bought this in 2000, used and we still use it for jumping, trail riding, and riding. Its seen countless spooks, bucks, rears, and many other things, and still is in one piece! yes in some places the stitching needs to be redone, but hey, thats not bad for a saddle thats been heavily used for over 12 years, and thats not even counting what the previous owner did to it!. Its worth the money.

I bought one for my husband and liked it well enough to buy one for myself. I own very expensive Prestige saddles and Wintecs. I ride all disciplines. This saddle gives you the weight spread of a western saddle with the front end of an english saddle for popping over the occassional fallen tree. It has lots of rings for attachments for trail riding. It is made of sturdy leather that gets better with use. I have used mine on my Quarterhorse, Tennessee walker, and my Percheron cross.

I know I'm using this review wrong, but there was only 1 review, I like the look and style of this saddle, and I trail ride a lot, but I am on a tight budget, can anyone write about the quality of this saddle, and if it will (hold up) also if it's got a nice tree? I know you get what you pay for, but (sometimes) you CAN get a good thing for a good price. Please only respond (IF) you've actualy ridden and or own this saddle. THANKS IN ADVANCE!! HAPPY TRAILS!!

I have had this saddle now for maybe 8 years now...It has held up wonderfully...Very comfortable too!I rode a cross MI, on the trails and neither my horse or I were sore, in the 11 days it took!
