Rated 3 out of 5 by Okay for Trail I will admit that I do like the feel and secure seat of the saddle, but found the stirrup 'leathers' were made unevenly and it wears/falls apart fast. Great exercise saddle or trail saddle though, very padded and comfortable and extremely light weight. do NOT buy for showing, extremely bulky-looking, will for sure get you some points knocked down. Rated 1 out of 5 by Equi Royal Pro Am Saddle pomel pops up off the horse even tho I got a Wide tree.Billets are PLASTIC,doesn't seem safe, pro am tag attached to cantel was off part way already on arrival. Light weight, seat seems soft,Fabric on seat should make a secure non slip seat.Very Cheaply made.had to notify 3 times about returning it,with no response since it was shipped direct from factory.might be alright for light ring work but I trail ride. Rated 4 out of 5 by I love mine! I love mine. It's so light! Less than 10 lbs... maybe 6 or 7 at most! It fits my horse perfect with the Excelle half pad!! My mare has high withers but a wide back so she can be hard to fit. I'm very happy with my purchase. I got a 17inch wide tree. You really won't be disappointed. Plan on using this for my Endurance rides. I would not recommend this saddle for the show ring, however. This is more of an English trail saddle. February 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable! But not good for the show ring. This saddle is great for trail riding. Very comfortable but I wouldn't recommend this for showing. I have had this saddle for only about 4 months and the fender is showing some wear. also the saddle looks like it wasn't very well put together. That is why it isn't recommended for the show ring. But Very comfortable and fits me and my Horse well! August 19, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by QUESTION!!! I am a daily rider with a bad sciatic and I need a softer saddle that won't kill me on long trail rides and when I'm jumping and just doing flat work. Someone please let me know. :) Thanks! March 3, 2011

how do i know what size saddle to order for my horse?
Robi L on Dec 21, 2014
Best Answer: This is a simple sizing guide to help you determine the size saddle recommended for your body size.

This is determined by this easy calculation: Sit in a position so that your upper leg is at a right-angle to your lower leg, then measure your upper leg length ...from the back of your buttock to the tip of your knee.

Use this chart ot determine your seat size:

Upper Leg Length Seat Size

Up to 16 1/2" 15" seat
Up to 18 1/2" 16" seat
Up to 20" 16 1/2" seat
Up to 21 1/2" 17" seat
Up to 23" 17 1/2" seat
Up to 23" 18" seat
