Rated 5 out of 5 by HAD TO REVIEW I have been using these rakes for 12 years. My husband brought home the wood guys one time, I made him load'm up and take'm back. The wood are heavy, take a lot of effort to turn/throw up and over, into a muck cart or tractor bucket. I do reinforce the foam handle area with duck tape, but saw someone suggested vet wrap, great idea. We have these rakes everywhere on our ranch and everybody goes for those before the wooden ones that we got stuck with. July 30, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ergonomic Handle Manure Fork have had 3 of them for a couple yrs...yes they make manure easy to pick up but really hard to dump especially when you have to put the fork thru a panel or fence to dump into a wheelbarrow or tractor bucket...all the extra hard strain on my wrists and elbows doesn't help much... Rated 3 out of 5 by Bent handle means it's harder on your wrists to du I work at a training barn and muck out over 30 stalls a day. We have 2 of these "bent handle" forks and I can't stand them when it comes to mucking out so many stalls. Some people love them but let me explain why I don't. The way they are bent means you can pick up the muck easy but carrying it level and then turning the rake over to dump it in a wheel barrel is harder on your wrists then a straight handle. With my job sometimes I need to park the muck cart outside the stall gate (some stalls have raised front bedding box sections) and put the fork through the rails to dump it. The bent handle makes it twice the work on my wrists to twist against the weight of the full fork and get it turned over. I also wear utility gloves to avoid blisters when mucking that many stalls in a row. If you don't grab the rake right at the foam grips the smooth metal handle will slip in your hands (if your wearing leather work type gloves) and turn over as you go to lift it up off the floor. I'm tall so I grip the rake lower down the handle which puts the bend behind my grip and causing it to want to turn over on it's own every time I lift it. It's fine if I just need to grab a few piles at the hitching rail but I wouldn't put myself though the pain of using it to do the rest of the barn. July 4, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fork I love this fork! I have had this fork for almost three years. We have had to replace the head but I'm not surprised because we live in Arizona! The handle is great because it is light weight and has a comfortable foam grip. Just wish it wasn't $25. June 23, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by The best pitchfork ever! I laughed at the idea of an ergonomic pitchfork at first, but after awhile went ahead and decided to try it. It is the best! Easy to use, makes cleaning the stalls a breeze! Going to buy more to have extras on hand. November 26, 2009
