Product Summary:

Exselle Comfort Riser Saddle Pad

A top quality pad from Exselle, constructed with dense, closed cell rubber. Adds cushioning and protects sensitive spine and shoulder muscles. Reduces saddle pressure on critical areas by redistributing the saddle load. The ventilated front and center channel relieves pressure and increases air circulation. Clinically shaped and tested for a close fit, reducing slipping and friction.  Natural memory of closed cell foam allows this pad to maintain its shape almost indefinitely.  Non-absorbent.

5/8" thick at front and 1 5/8" at the rear. Pad is approximately 18" in length.
11” or 12” width

Hate it, 4/20/2012

annaglk from Alaska

This is so stiff. It won't break in. My horse hates having it on, it pushes on the withers a lot. I am constantly having to pull it up off the withers so it doesn't rub. Terrible buy.. It sets really weird and also it makes my saddle slip.

Not what I expected. , 3/6/2012

BackInTheSaddle from Texas

This pad is VERY stiff and rigid, and the edges are kind of sharp and rough. Not sure how well it breaks in, but I definetely feel the need to watch my horses back closely for rubbing. Will do temporarily until I can afford a better one.
