Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful for extra padding... Works wonderfully as extra padding for horses with regular backs, wouldn't recommend for overly sensitive horses. Easy to take care of, doesn't slip, curves to horse's back nicely. Doesn't get as hot as normal half pads. Not recommended to be put in washing machine. However; it is quite small and doesn't fit a saddle larger than a size 16". Overall it is a wonderful product to aid in back protection. April 13, 2013

But- once u wash it the fleece gets all bunchy and bally, and the pad tends to be a bit small for most saddles :L so i suggest medium/large ponies saddles and small horse saddles for this pad.
