Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Disappointed Wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews and paid more for something else. Where to start... This pad is constructed very poorly - the pad itself is foam but the outer shell is very tough and does not flex, even with a saddle on top of it. The outer coating has inconsistencies in it, to the point of having a very hard notch at the crest of where it contacts the high point of the withers. Considering that it bridges immensely, I'm sure it would have created a very sore spot if not an actual wound. Yikes! Secondly, although the website does not list a size, it actually labeled "large - 12''" on the pad itself. My horse is a tall paint cross and not short backed, but this pad is WAY too long for her. I'm not sure what type of horse this is sized for but I'm thinking maybe a draft horse or a warmblood. Either way, this spent about 10 seconds on my horse then went right back in the box to return. Waste of time and effort, not to mention money. October 21, 2012

I tried it once on my mare it wouldn't fit her wither or my saddle. the edging were a bit rough that I could feel. so when I returned it the ups store charges me $40.00 to send it back. more than what I paid for it in the beginning. either way i'm out of $40.00 now.
