I have read the other reviews and do not understand maybe the others are not applying it according to directions but we have 8 dogs and one cat we live in the country in west TX and ticks and fleas are awful here. We have been using biospot for the past 3 years and have not had any problems. Our dogs have no skin problems with the treatments and no ticks or fleas. We even had a stray dog dropped at our door 2 days ago just covered in fleas and ticks and after a bath and a biospot treatment they are gone and she is happy. With so many pets it is a much better price than advantage and works well.

We have both a long haired cat and a short haired cat. Both are indoor cats, but we also have an Australian Shepherd who is in and out several times daily. We have used the bio-spot on our Aussie since he was a pup (nine years ago) and on both cats. We have never had a flea problem with any of them, and living in Western Oregon we are in prime flea and tick country. Until we discovered this product, we were constantly doing battle with sprays, and insecticides for outdoor as well as indoor. Since using the product, we have not had any trouble at all with fleas on any of our animals unless we forget to treat them within a week or so of the re-treat date.
Neither the dog nor the cats particularly like the smell of the product, but they don't run in the other direction either, so it is fairly easy to treat them.
Good product, best price for the quality.

This wasn't the greatest product on my dogs but it is wonderful for the cats! I have 2 indoor/outdoor shorthair cats and not a flea or tick one after using this product for 30 days.

I mistakenly assumed the product was working on my Himalayan. A week after the application I discoverd a colony of fleas was living in her coat, oblivious to the fact that I had applied flea killer to her skin. Frequently check to make sure the product is working, and if it is not, take your cat to the vet before using any other product. Always be observant of your cats behavior after using flea killer products. It could be that this is not a good product for a long haired cat.

Compared to Frontline & Advantage, the price matches its worth. I placed it on my cats and instantly the fleas where gone, only a week or so later and it my cats where back to scratching! It was horrible to watch them scratch for another 3 weeks before I could use another product. I dont recommend this product at all.

My only criticism could be the vial which is somewhat difficult to empty. However, Ive seen worse. The only time I see a flea on our cats is when Im late reapplying the next dose.
