I have a rescue mare who is allergic to flies, and this is the only product that I have found that allows the bumpiness to disappear! You have to use a lot of it but it works!

I cannot use any oil based fly sprays on my Tobiano Paint mare due to having pink skin under white hair. This water based spray works just as good as the oil based and she doesn't blister during our triple digit summer heat waves.

30 min after I sprayed this on my mare I came back and the flies were gone! A few did land on her coat, but flew away on their own after a few seconds. Later, when I was weeding in the garden with my family, the gnats were all over them, but they didn't touch me at all because this spray's smell was on my clothing! I definitely recommend this product. Its only fault is that it doesn't last too long. Maybe a day or two, probably less.

It's great that it's Eco-Friendly but not impressed. Doesn't repel very well.

Covers multiple species and smells great. Good for horses (and owners!) with sensitive skin. A must have for hot, humid weather and trail rides.

I've always tried all natural sprays because I liked the idea but none of them really worked. I take care of about 20 horses on the weekends and the owners buy them all different sprays I noticed the Equisect on one of my guys and noticed he wasn't being harrassed by bugs at the end of the day when all the others were- even with the chemicals. This is a great product, great price and I think it is very effective against insects and I like the idea of not blasting my horses with chemicals every day!!!!!!!

this stuff works really well! my horse has pretty sensitive skin and this spray doesn't irritate it at all. one day earlier this summer i forgot to put this on, and the next day i brought him in and he had bumps all over his chest and belly! once i started using this spray again, the he stopped getting bumps! now i don't go a single day (in the summer at least) without using this product!

This stuff works wonders on any horse I've ridden. It doesn't smell too strong, and it lasts a long time. (Mine last me atleast a year) The price is also amazing for such a great product, as other fly sprays run up to 30 dollars! This is a really great product and I would recommend it to anyone.

Equisect has been a blessing for me. Although I still see a few flies, there is a dramatic difference between Equisect and no Equisect. My horse is happy and the bugs are not, which makes me a very happy person. In my opinion, it is no more or less effective than heavy-duty flysprays like Pyranah (and yes, I have tried every spray their company produces based on their reputation). I especially love Equisect because it's safer than traditional sprays; I don't have to worry that it will harm me if some of it lands on my skin (read the warning labels on traditional flysprays, you'll be suprised at how dangerous they can be). The price is great too. Overall, highly recommended.

I love natural fly sprays even tho I have to apply daily. However, some of them are too strong for my horse and he has had bad reactions. This one works well for him although its effects don't last as long as other natural sprays. But for the money, this one is good!

I found that this product works well if on a clean horse. If your horse is dusty or sweaty it won't work as well. I found that it even repels mosquitoes better than "Mosquito Halt" did.

Yeah, sure, its all natural and smells good and stuff. BUT IT DOESNT WORK! This product is terrible, it doesnt keep the flies away and it can be sweated off. Your better off with a different fly spray!

I dont use strong insecticides on my miniature horses because I am worried about adverse reactions from them. I like this product because I believe it has less risk of toxicity to animal. It works better than some of the other noninsecticide products I have used. Worked well on dogs to keep biting flies off of their ears. It must be reapplyed frequently, but it smells pretty good and it will kill and repell flies.

I bought this bug spray for my horse, excited bout the price, to find out it doesnt work. Within a day of spraying this fly spray on, my horse must of had 20 flies on him. I do not recommend this product.

It smells nice, but thats about it. Five minutes after spraying it on my horse, the flays were back on her again. And I really saturated her too. My mom tried it on her horse, and it doesnt work on him either. My vet agrees with me, I give this product a big 0.
