Farnam® Equitrol® II Feed-Thru Fly Control

 

By adding Equitrol® II pellets to your horse’s feed, you are helping to prevent the development of stable and house fly larvae in the manure of your treated horse

·         97 – 100% effective for inhibiting the development of adult house flies and stable flies in manure of treated horses

·         Highly palatable feed should be started early in the spring before flies begin to appear and continued throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity

·         Available in 10 lb (160-day supply) and 20 lb (320-day supply) sizes

This products does work in reducing insect population. Equitrol II and Simplifly with Larvastop are the same thing with the same dosing size so go with wichever is cheaper at the time.

Happy with product. Have not had to tax additional steps for fly control. (Other than fly mask) We feed it before morning mash to ensure that they get the full dose.

One year I skipped using Equitrol. As a result, I had to spend much more on fly sprays than usual. My fly problem was disastrous!! I will never bypass equitrol again as part of my fly control system.

we used equitrol feed thru fly control all last year during fly season with great results. we had very few flies and it is easy to feed because the horses like the taste. the horses are more comfortable and so are we!
