Great Product, BUT..., 5/13/2012

Farnam is very well known for their amazing equine products, but I was highly dissapointed not by the results of the product, but by how much is so easily wasted. I have been a huge glycerin soap (Feibing's)fan for years and have recently started using liquid glycerin(Feibing's)and was very satisfied with the results, so I figured that it was possible that the solid glycerin was a bit old fashioned. I love Farnam's show sheen so I gave this a shot. It does shine up leather, and it does make it soft but I feel like it is too watery. You waste more getting your sponge to absorb it all before you even get to apply a decent amount of your leather. A microfiber cloth seemed to be less wasteful, but lacks the ability to buff the leather as nicely as a sponge. It wasn't a total waste because it does work, but be prepared to use more then necessary. Overall I will finish the bottle, but I will stick to my Fiebing's.

Save a saddle, ride Leather New ! !, 2/7/2011

Simple to use,and I dont know of a better product to keep your everyday saddle, or your show saddle, pliable, looking new, and lasting a long time in harsh climates. I use this on every piece of leather I own, including jackets and boots. If there is something better, I havent found it .

This product has really made my PJ saddle last forever! I use it with the Leather New glycerine soap. My saddle is incredibly supple, soft, and always looks almost new! It sped up the break in process and I just love it!

Excellent Product, 8/12/2009

All my ranch saddles are used very hard in very rugged conditions. This deep conditioner keeps all my tack supple and in good working order. It also restores extremely dry leather making it useful again.
