I have used this stuff for 3 summers and it makes the rides nearly fly free. The only BIG suggestion I have is don't apply above the eyes. Sweat from my horse caused it to run into his eyes. It's just like sunscreen in the eyes..not pleasant.

I use this on my horses face and he usually has millions of flies on him but when i out it on there is only about 5 or so.So i guess it works okay.

I've used this product for several years with great success. It's really good to take along on trail rides for touch ups. I can run several paths of it along my horse's rump, belly and face and ears on bad fly days and it sure make the ride a lot more fun for both of us.

Works perfectly! I love putting this around my horses ears and eyes and on his muzzle. Flies don't come near for days. Kinda greasy looking but who cares? Love this stuff and the price is even better.

Like Jessica's review, this product works like a charm for the nasties in my horse's ears! All gone and stay gone! He loves when I use it..think he likes the feel of the roller ball. :)

Maybe I got a bad batch since everyone else loves it. I bought this product because my bottle ran out. Last years bottle was awesome kept the flies away on rides and when I turned out my kids. This year's batch is HORRIBLE I put it on both my kids, a 3 year old filly and one yr old gelding, and within seconds the flies were back. I now just leave their fly masks on when they are turned out and this product is in a corner in my tack room.
But like I said I could have gotten a bad batch, though my Bronco fly spray made by the same company also does not work.

I had a bottle of this that was about 5 years old and found that it was just as effective as a new one. It never seems to dry up and is so easy to apply to ears -- a quick swipe on a head shy horse is all you need. Also good around wounds and on the midline of the belly.

i already posted a review, and it's still working well, but it's kind of greasy. when i put it around my horse's eyes, he has a greasy ring around each eye! i still use it though because it works really well

THIS IS THE ONLY REPELLENT THAT WORKS FOR DEER FLIES. I PUT THIS ON MY HORSES FACE, EARS, AND NECK AND THE DEER FLIES DO NOT HOVER LONG AND THEY DO NOT LAND. WONDERFUL STUFF. THE ROLLER BALL HAS NEVER GOTTEN STUCK OR NOT WORKED EITHER!

this stuff is GREAT! my horse kept getting these little scabs all over the insides of his ears, and i couldn't figure out why. the only thing i could think of that was causing the scabs was bugs, so i put fly spray on and inside his ears (i sprayed it on my hand then put it on his ears), and it helped a little, but didn't get rid of the scabs. so i got some of this, hoping it would get rid of any bugs that were irritating his ears and be easier to put on. it worked so well! the day after i put it on him, the scabs were all gone! plus, he likes this stuff so much better than me putting it on my hands, then his ears. he doesn't flinch when i put it on him anymore, in fact i think he actually likes it! i would recommend this to anybody, especially people with horses with sensitive skin, like my horse. =)
