My partially blind 22 yo TB has had 3 of these masks and they all are in good shape. His first one (without ears) I ordered too big and then modified it to fit him but after a few weeks I decided to buy him the “horse” size (without ears) and keep the bigger one as a spare. He ended up wearing that one for 4+ months. Recently I got him the “horse” size mask with ears. This is his first mask with ears and it seems to work great for him. He had a rough life for 4-5 years and left him with severe trust issues, I put this on him he flicked his ears a couple times wobbled and looked around then went out to graze. He loves them. He starts to get nervous when I put them on but soon realizes “oh wait this is a good thing” and accepts them. He had a severe eye injury in his right eye before I got him that left him blind in that eye. He is starting to get a cataract in his good eye, this mask blocks a lot of sun and UV rays so that makes his life a lot better! I’ve looked through it to make sure it offers a lot of visibility and it does, this has been a great mask that makes day to day life a little better for my special needs horse. The vet told me to even use this in the winter time when the sun is reflecting off the snow to help shield his eyes and make him more comfortable. My only complaint about the mask is the fur around the edges gets gross easy. Everything sticks to it mud, hair, leaves, but I just throw it in the washer on the gentle cycle and it comes out good as new. I will update if I find anything else negative with the masks

I already have one of these for our Morgan and it works great! I am defiantly getting anther one for our new horse. They fit comfortably on the horses, and look great too! Love the colors.

I thought this was a trusted brand.I was very wrong!! My horse had this on for a week and it already had 2 holes in the ears and the whole 'fuzzy bottom' of it was wripped off!And my horse isnt even hard on his flymasks. I am NEVER buying this again!

This fly mask has torn in 3 places in 1 day after I got it on my horse. Big and bulky and doesn't fit my horse very well. Wouldn't recommend and definitively wouldn't buy again.

I bought this last year. Normally my mare looses a mask every year and you'll never find it. I still have BOTH of mine! I always hate the prices they charge but since I'll still have it next year its fair.

I was not impressed with the whole "shimmer weave" thats supposed to show off the horses color.... The mask did nothing for my geldings color. Reguardless of the Shimmer Weave its actual function as a fly mask didn't impress me either. The band around the throatlatch and nose fit fine but overall the mask just look very "baggy" on my gelding. It stays on pretty well but the material tears and "picks easily. I hated the fur around the bands as well it gets gross!

It is hard to find a good fitting mask with ears. This one works well and lasts.
