Directions for Use

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING

DIRECTIONS: Clean the hoof thoroughly by removing debris and necrotic material prior to application of Thrush-XX. A narrow paint brush (about 1" in diameter) may be used to assure thorough coverage. Apply Thrush-XX daily.

USE THRUSH-XX AS FOLLOWS:
1. Remove cap.
2. With sharp instrument, punch a small hole in metal seal.
3. Replace with applicator cap; screw it down tightly.
4. Loosen nozzle a small amount.
5. Invert bottle and squeeze gently, using nozzle to regulate the flow of fluid.

NOTE: Thrush-XX is easily removed from hands, clothing, and surfaces with a light grade fuel oil or any type of lighter fluid.

Thrush XX works great at killing and getting rid of thrush. my horse had bad thrush to where she was endanger of going lame. he whole hoof and hoof wall was black and wet. after several uses of thrush XX we started to see a great improvement and after a month or so it was almost completely gone!! Product works great but down side it is very messy but worth it. Aerosol version works great too but you get less!

Great Stuff, 4/26/2011

This stuff has been wonderful to use this past winter/spring. It knocks out thrush quickly and hardens the hooves. You won't be sorry if you buy this stuff - but I have two recommendations if you do: 1. Wear disposable gloves. The primary ingredient is copper naphthenate and stains EVERYTHING bright green (use it on the outside of their hooves for a St. Patty's Day show - hehe) 2. Pour the contents into a small generic spray-bottle. It makes the job infinitely easier. Farnam has a spray bottle version, but this bottle is 16oz and their spray bottle is only 7oz.
