Works well for every cut and scrape my horse gets! I put this on his cuts then Alu Shield to help seal it up and keep it clean. The flies stay away from he area because of the citronella!

This product is cheap, but when my horse got tied up in barbed wire, it didn't help much. The problem with this stuff is that it won't stay on the wound very long and slips off. It works if your horse stands still, otherwise it is a waste of money.

I've used this on scratches, superficial cuts, etc. It does melt but because of the base ingredient, you can't really help that. It does numb the area that you are putting it on - I know this because I've put it on my own skin (works great for rope burns!!).

Works well, but melts off immediately in the sun. I have a pasture board horse and this stuff melts right off when I put him back outside.

This is an unmatched product with one drawback; it becomes more liquid in hot weather. Our horses have issues with belly scabs from fly contact and, in the summer, only SWAT stays thick enough to provide a barrier.

I like this particular product because of the thickness of the salve which stays put and the anesthetic properties that even a skiddish horse will stand still for within a couple of minutes.

This works great on all of our horses when they get bites from the flies on their tender under areas. They enjoy the soothing effect when we massage it into the bites and make a parrot beak in pleasure/appreciation.

TRI-Care works great! It disinfects, keeps the flys away and makes even deep cuts less painful. I love that it stays in place even when it has been in a hot shed in the Arizona sun all day. But what I love the most is that it helps hair grow back in its natral color in just a few days. No more white hair scars!!! YEAH!!

Tricare is by far the most effective wound treatment that I have ever used. I use it on cuts, rainrot, and sunburn, and it is effective on all three. I would definitely recommend it to others.

This product provides excellent results regarding speed in healing without scaring. The fly, water and germ barrier can not be matched by any other product. When applied to wounds on the legs it stays put so healing can begin, flys stay away. Wont come off even if the horse is outside.
