I've made good use of this powder many times on the farm and with a variety of animals. From a hen that survived a fox attack which left her thigh eaten and ripped to the backbone... to my barn kitties that seem to get recurring nasty abcesses... to my 5 horses with cuts and scrapes on their legs. It just plain works! P.S. The hen fully recovered and you can't tell anything happened to her!

AQHA Halter Champion from Alberta, Canada
My halter horse ripped a large hole in her neck, close to the carotid artery, she was bleeding fast. I ran and grabbed Wonder Dust unscrewed the cap and pored it in, within 15 seconds the blood flow was much slower.
We kept at it until the vet could arrive and stitch her up he said the coagulant in this saved her life.
This along with Derma-Gel allowed the hole to heal with no visible marks, allowing us to take AQHA Open Aged Mares Canadian National Champion title!!

i wouldn't ever question getting this product! a pony at my stable has a major vain problem with his hind leg, it scabs over, but it usually ends up being brushed off, rubbed off, or broken when he's running. it ends up gushing blood for 30mins to an hour. after the bleeding stops we put a bit of powder on it and it covers itself in just a few days. i cant believe how little it costs! such a great price for an amazing value!!! must have!

Have used this product for years. It works great for leg cuts that are prone to proud flesh. Reading some of the other reviews. This product mixed with Mckillips powder and Furazone will keep the pain mentioned to the minimum. I have used for major gashes, snake bites, tears, and Wonder Dust lives up to its name. No visible proud flesh after wound heals.

my horse got cast in the stall and busted up 3 legs with his shoes. it happened on a sunday, of course, so couldnt get the vet out right away. i rinsed all 11 wounds with plain water (which were quite deep) and applied Wonder Dust. the difference within 24 hours was remarkable. with no discomfort whatsoever to my horse. i wasnt surprised, as ive used this product in the past. i have never, ever been disappointed with the results...and will never, ever be without it! just a note: never has there been left any scarring or white hair after healing. its cleaner, easier, more thorough and less stressful to my horse than anything else ive ever used. I highly reccommend it to anyone with a horse.

my mare had a long, deep cut on her muzzle. This product was the only thing I could get close enough to fill the wound with several times a day for 2 weeks. It left no visible scar.I reccommend keeping 2 bottles in your first aid kit.

My yearling stud colt injured the front of his left hind leg. The wound was deep and about 6 inches long by 2 1/2 wide. He was not halter broke at the time. We tried several treatments with little success. I found Wonder Dust at my local feed store and tried it. My colt did not mind the application of Wonder Dust. In fact he began to enjoy the time we spent with him during treatment. He is healing nicely and much more quickly than I anticipated. Thanks Wonder Dust.

This product works. My horse had a 2" by 1" cut on her upper leg that was at least 1/4" deep and it was oozing for over a week. I was cleaning it and applying anti-bacterial medication but it didn't want to scab over. After 2 days of using Wonder Dust it was scabbed over and was no longer draining. The cut is healing very nicely now. I will always keep this on hand from now on.
Also, this product did not hurt my horse at all!!! I was a bit nervous because of a previous review but there was absolutely no irritation. Obviously don't push this up against the wound and squeeze. Hold it a couple of inches back and let it puff over the whole area.

This is an AMAZING Product! Wonder Dust really WORKS!
My horse recently cut his front leg on a fence and got a gouge about the size of a dime. Well I stupidly tried to let the wound heal by itself, but instead of healing it created a case of PROUD FLESH! I noticed the proud flesh on The Fourth of July so I was unable to call my vet who was off for a three day weekend.
So, I got out the wonder dust and applied it for the next couple of weeks without calling the vet out. And now ITS HEALED UP almost 100!
All because of the Wonder Dust!
How I used the Wonder Dust:
I rinsed the wound twice a day with just plain water then I applied the wonder dust and then put flyspray on it to help prevent flies, and it worked!
I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a horse with proud flesh or a cut to help heal the wound while preventing Proud Flesh!
The only downside to this product is that it did seem to make my horses wound a little sore after applying it. He just had a minor limp that went away within a couple of hours after each application.
Considering the expensive Vet Bills one can acquire when removing Proud Flesh from even the smallest wound, I highly recommend this product to all horse owners!
A great addition to your horse First Ad kit!
I highly recommend this product to anyone that owns a horse, especially with a barbwire fence!

This powder saved a hens life. She had untreatable wounds left by a dog attack. The vet told us to use her for the stew pot. I used Wonder Dust each day, may have been uncomfortable but it allowed the skin to regrow and she lived 2 years and was able to lay many eggs.

While this product works, application appears to be more painful than the injury itself. There are far kinder ways to treat a wound, without all the surface burning. And yes, I did try this product myself...it hurt like a sunova
