Great Product, 2/10/2013

Fast Gate Latch from Belgrade, MN

We have used these for many years on the outside of our stall gates and on the outside of our outside gates. They have worked very well. We have had no problems with the chains being too small or our animals getting out! It is easy to use. Great product.

VERY Light Duty, 12/8/2012

The chain links are to small and wont fit over the latch unless you spread one. The eye bolt screw is very light duty and doesn't screw into hard wood unless its predrilled. For the cost I could have rigged up something much better.

Horses Love it, Me not so much., 8/16/2012

One of my horses managed to learn to nose the chain off the hook and let her and her 3 pasture mates out. However, this mare is an escape artist and has managed to learn to open her stall latch and several gate latches, Must keep searching.

Had to Modify , 2/29/2012

When it came I thought to myself, 'what a short chain' but after thinking a little I decided that it was a good length. However I had to enlarge the end ring of the chain because it would not fit over the hook, this wasn't to hard, but it would have been nice had it came large enough. Overall it is a nice product, for the price, it is good and strong, works great!
