this stuff works great on my tack, but has anyone used it on boots? How is it at rehydrating? My boots look all beat up and dry-should I get something specific for boots, or is this gonna save them? Appreciate anyone's input if you can flash me an email that'd be so great!

I scoured the internet for other places to buy this soap and this site has by far the best price. I use this on my old, used English saddle and it's worked well so far. Haven't had any need to condition even though the leather was cracking when I got it. The soap's smell isn't my favorite—I like the Kiwi Saddle Soap's fragrance better—but it doesn't smell bad so I'm not complaining. :)

I use 2 types of saddle soap. This is one of them and it works amazingly! my friend walked up to me cleaning with it one day and said, 'So thats how you make it [the saddle] shiney!" it makes all of the saddles i ride in look fabulos!

I have had a tub of this stuff for 2 seasons. You don't need to use a lot and it works to both clean and condition. You won't be disappointed.

A great deal, this works! I use it on my saddle and its becomes alot prettier... it will last me a while which is good and at first it does darker your saddle when you put it on but then it disappears... I recommend this stuff to all my friends!

I have tried everything. Leather New, Leather Therapy, Harness Honey, Black Rock, Lexol, Horseman's One Step, Leather CPR, Everything. And My all time favorite for general cleaning has to be plain ol' Saddle Soap.

I am buying a saddle from a friend of mine. It needed to be cleaned desperately. This saddle hasn't been used in about 5 years. Now the leather looks like new, its soft again, and will be ready to be used!

This product is ok..... If u scrub it really hard it is ok but on my new saddle it just left clumpy goo on it. is better for older tack tho :D

My saddle is very old and we got it with another saddle, 2 saddle pads, and like 90 bridles for $200. I found a can of this in the bottom of the tack trunk and used it. It made everything look like new again(well as close to new as possible)and we now show in the saddles and have sold some of the bridles.

We use this saddle soap excusively. Really cleans the leather well and restores suppleness. I buy it on a regular basis. Since I run a summer day camp/lesson program we like to have lots of cans of it around so the students can grab their own can and clean leather. Its a favorite "too hot to ride anymore" activity!

I won this saddle soap at a horse show for placing well, so I didn't have any expectations really. I tried using it on the grimy leather saddle my trainer let me borrow for shows (it was one of those saddles used for kids riding lessons and not cleaned often) and I was amazed! It really brought the saddle back to life. I followed the directions and it worked perfectly. I also used it on my horse's leather halter and it worked wonders there, too. For the price, it's a great buy.

This is the best saddle soap I have ever used! It cleans tack like a dream and keeps it from cracking. I is not the best moisturizer but as long as you leather is not right in the sun it should be fine! It makes the leather feel soft and smooth AND you don't have to wash it off! I can't say enough about this saddle soap, my saying for this saddle soap is "It takes the old and replaces it with new" REALLY!!!!!

My friend uses this on all of her tack every single day after she rides. Her stuff looks brand new and in top condition. I borrowed it from her and my saddle went from dull and unconditioned to shiny and back to its original color from this stuff. I couldn't wait to get my own. She has had the same container for months and hasn't needed anything else.

I followed the directions, using it sparingly on my tack, and EVERYTHING I USED IT ON TURNED A GROSS BURNT GREEN/ORANGE COLOR! I used it on a fairly new saddle, and ended up selling it for about 1/8 of what I paid for it, it was all I could get for it because of how ugly this stuff made the leather! I WILL NEVER USE THIS STUFF AGAIN! YES IT'S CHEAP, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!

It works great, its a large can so it lasts a long time, even if you have to clean tack extremely often or clean a lot of itI know I do!. It works great, and helps condition as well as clean. Stateline has it the cheapest Ive seen it, and its really awesome stuff!
