Why did you choose this?
I have a miniature horse that had foundered in the past... Will this help his hooves? He is in a lot of pain after he gets his feet trimmed! I just want to try to find something that will help his hooves not hurt as much!
Best Answer: LaminaSaver is a breakthrough product that helps your horse rebuild and regenerate tissues and bones damaged by laminitis.
The product sounds interesting for my foundered horse. How long before I can expect to see some results from this product feeding according to directions?
Best Answer: Our Shetland pony foundered a few years ago, and a friend of mine told me about LaminaSaver. We started using a full dose on him, and his feet grew so quickly that our farrier was amazed. We ended up reducing him to 1/4 dose, and we have kept him on it ever since just to promote healthy foot health. We still have to be careful with him, and he does not get much grass, but if we control his environment, he does great, and his feel look and feel great as well. You can also call the people at Figuerola directly with any questions, and they are great to help.
Does this product work as a prevention supplement ? To avoid founder and laminitis ?
Best Answer: I don't know about that but my guess is yes. My horse has been having issues for a couple years. She got very ouchy on hard pavement. It took a while but after 8 months on the product she could walk on any surface. I was even able to take her on short rides. She is now 30 & likes to do quick sprints in the pasture
I was very happy with her results
