I needed to de-flea my cats and have used this product for years and Frontline still works for my cats. Purchased from Dog.com and the Frontline they shipped me worked as it should. Thanks Dog.com

Effective flea and tick treatment, but use the cor, 3/30/2010

I often use a Frontline product preventatively since I occasionally travel with my cat, and the animal quarantine in Hawaii requires treatment with fipronil. If your cat is prone to ear mite infestations, a Revolution (selamectin) product may be a better choice, but otherwise, Frontline is a good product. As with any insecticide treatment, make sure that you use the correct dosage for your cat's weight. If you have a very large cat, you may need to use more than one tube to effectively treat/ prevent infestation. (Consult your vet.) For cats under 10 pounds, treatment with a higher dose can cause serious adverse reactions (mostly due to overstimulation of the nervous system).
