Wore out fast, 5/25/2012

I've had this rasp about a year and it has worn out very quickly. Used on all minis and one full sized horse. Have had other rasps past years in comparison. Love handle though. Wish metal was better quality.

disappointing, 7/3/2011

Maybe I got a lemon out of the bunch, but I was disappointed that the rasp seemed to lose its sharpness very quickly, being German myself I had expected it to last a lot longer. It is also thicker, thus heavier than the regular rasps which made it more cumbersome when dealing with a fidgety horse. I will go back to the regular diamond brand that I can sometimes get for half the price of this one, they last for more than 20 hooves.

Great rasp, replacing one I bought here about 5 or 6 years ago, have used it a lot. Easy to hold, and love the attached rubberized handle.
