I thought it would help my mare with an itchy belly, but didn't.

I have a Haflinger who got his mane hacked off somewhere along the line (SMH) and I am desprate to try and grow it back. I have had limited success after more than a year, can someone tell me if they feel this is assiting in the growth of their horses manes as well? Thank you.

Best Answer: Hi Krystal, I bought this for a horse that itches her tail and mane and also itches her belly. Didn't help much, but if your horse is itching his mane off, MTG (Shapley's) is the only thing I have found that helps hair growth. It might help grow hair even if he isn't itching, The trick is to use it every day.
Hope this helps. Kris H Santa Rosa, CA

is this product safe for use in pregnant mares?
Aurora C on Nov 15, 2014
Best Answer: I haven't used it on PG mates. Check the labels, contact the manufacturer and most of all, ask your vet. I do that with all products but especially PG mates.
