Awesome, but too long for me, 9/5/2012

I ordered this saddle with extra long flaps because we were told I would need them. I am 5'9" and 15 years old with longer legs. The saddle quality was awesome and it fit my QH perfect, but I had a huge gap between by knee and the knee blocks and the edge of the saddle. Not trying to say anything bad about it, the saddle was awesome, but I think the flaps were just to long for me. We just sent it back today and we are going to get the regular flap saddle. Overall it is a fantastic saddle. You can't beat the price. The free saddle pad it came with is also very nice.

I bought this saddle used actually, it's a 2 yr old saddle but I fell in LOVE with it. The Xlong flaps are perfect for my longer legs. The saddle fits my narrow TB and my pudgy paint equally as well. I feel secure in my seat and my legs do not swing back at all anymore. I used to have that problem with lesson saddles I had been using. A week in my "new" saddle and that problem was completely gone. The leather was not taken care of before i got this saddle, but after some TLC it is looking almost brand new. Its a very high quality saddle for the price and i recommend it to anyone. I should also mention this is the first saddle I have ever owned and I plan on buying the same kind from now on!
