High Country Plastics Insulated Bucket
 
Heavy equipment prevents water from freezing allowing horses to drink regularly in an occupied stall. Unique drain design allows for watering with or without a bucket, and makes cleaning easy. Heavy duty 5 gallon bucket included. Float included as well which helps insulate the bucket from the top by floating at or just below water surface. Horse can easily access the water by nudging the float which also helps keep the water circulating.  Has 4 mounting holes (2 on each side) molded into the bucket holder to mount to the stall wall.
 
Has been field tested to not freeze until 15 degrees. But is based on animals effectiveness.

Size: 18 3/4in x 14in x 15 3/4in
 
No mounting hardware included.
 
Note: Bucket does not fill automatically.

high country water bucket, 1/4/2012

live in ky. temp was 22. float and water around float froze. horses were not able to push float down. water in insulated area did not freeze. disapointed in product.

Used in barn during Maine winter without even using the float and I found it worked great. Even in below 0 weather it only slightly iced up. During the summer insulated holder doubled as a mounting block when flipped over. Still a bit pricey.

Installed inside barn in a stall and did not keep water from freezing. the barn temp was only 26 degrees. Product does not work as decribed.

great product....bought last winter for barn that did not have electricity for heated buckets...worked great! saved lots of $ and beats breaking ice. Very durable all year round.
