Bought Brand new...didn't last long, 9/24/2012

I have lots of professional choice riding equipment, but this has been the worst. The leather across the spine and up near the withers just ripped in half in less than four months...It has been used like every other saddle pad I've had but none have weathered so poor. I am very disappointed with it. It has a great thickness and fits my horse well, but it didn't last long at all. Wouldn't recommend buying unless with a warranty

Good and Bad, 12/6/2011

The good is that this pad is very thick and has the split for horses that have high withers. However, the bad part is that it is so firm that it needs to be partnered with a blanket because otherwise it can give your horse (as it gave mine) saddle sores. If you can figure out how to soften the sides quickly and easily, it will be better for your horse and you.
