how big is this ball???

Best Answer: I believe that I bought the medium size cover & I want to say it was something like 40". My horses loved playing with the balls but the longest I had one last was about 2 weeks. My guys either popped them on the underbrush or bit a hole in them. I spent close to $150 replacing them before I gave up. The cover doesn't fit snug so my horses would pick it up by the cover which would tear it. It also picks up stickers, etc. easily. If you can afford buying replacements or have an area where it won't get popped, I would recommend a ball with a cover. Good Luck!

What kind of cover is the cover made of?
Jennifer B on Jun 11, 2014
Best Answer: It is a durable heavy nylon-like fabric. We purchased our ball and cover this past winter. Would definately recommend it for horses..takes the bordem out of the areana and it is a great training tool for all age horses, esp. ones that are just being started under saddle.
