Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Fly Sheet This is pretty much the only thing that helps in the summer. My Thoroughbred is very thin-skinned and fly sprays do not last long if the weather is hot!! It is very durable and strong. It only has a few tears in it from him rubbing on a board or nail. Second year of use! I also think there's a tear from the mice but other than that I love this fly sheet and so does my horse. Sometimes, it slips but I adjust it and I love the fact that it keeps him clean when he rolls! March 30, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worth Buying I have a HUGE palomino Quarter Horse gelding who lives in pasture. I bought the blanket to keep the flys off of him, especially with the nicks and scratches pasture horses get. This sheet holds up very well. Had it for about three years and wears it year round (use a Lycra sheet under in the winter). It is definitely worth buying. March 3, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Product! I have a 6yr. old gelding who is on turn out virtually 24/7 during the summer months. He is playful and tough on his apparel. This sheet still looks like new after 4 months of wear. He will get several summers out of it! I will only buy this fly sheet in the future! November 26, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by Didn't fit my arabian... If you have a smaller built horse with skinny shoulders/short neck this does not fit! It was super long on her sides, from the withers to the chest was way to big/long so it did not fit her neck correctly, etc... I recommend this type of sheet for stockier, bigger horses... and it RUNS SMALL. My horse is a true 72" and a 74" was too little.. returning it and going to get a different style. May 25, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by great sheet! clearence priced this sheet is fantastic. ive been looking at these for years and finally was able to get one. looks great and fits well- does sit alittle farther back in the withers than i would like but it doesnt seem to rub so its ok. leg straps are quality and stay in place when sheet is rolled in. over all i give it a A! Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! This is a great fly sheet! It fits my horse perfectly, so the sizing is correct. I got it in the berry color. For those of you who are concerned about the berry color being to pink on a boy horse, I can assure you that it is mostly purple and not too girly. Hope this review helped! July 3, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very nice sheet My friend has one of these for her big TB cross hunter. The sheet fits him perfectly and seems to offer him good UV protection while still remaining cool. It's VERY durable, her sheet doesn't have one rip in it and she's had it for a few months. The only problem is it is a bit stiff because of the material it's made of and may rub on your horse if he's a bit bony. Overall though great product! June 2, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kensington protective fly sheet I already have two of these fly sheets for my older horses, they are going on their 5th year. They would be fine if one of my horses hadnt bit the sheet on my other, but I can still use it. I am getting one for my colt. They wear like iron, and I have tried others. Thanks. January 27, 2009

I purchased this because I wanted a good fly sheet and this one had really good reviews. My appy used to be in a field with a big Percheron mare that always bullied him, it got a few holes from her biting him but since he's moved to a new pasture I have not had any issues with holes or tears. I like this sheet. It does rub a bit on his chest so it needs some padding or wool sewn into it.

to have a different color option as well as be able to wash one while my horse has his other on.

Great fit and these last longer than other fly sheets.

Does this come with the belly band? Picture doesn't look like it
A shopper on Apr 1, 2014
Best Answer: I found the belly bands on Ebay for about $26. The newer Kensingtons are set up to take the belly band, but you have to add it yourself.

I live in AZ and my poor paint is getting so burned but I cant leave him in a stall he turns it into a swamp (vet has checked his peeing problem & sunburns). Here we get 110 + days and no humidity. Will the polyester mesh be to hot for him? Thanks
LAUREN R on Aug 13, 2015
Best Answer: The polyester fly sheet works quite well under normal weather conditions. It doesn't seem to add to the heat. It does allow for more airflow than some other sheets. However, under such extreme heat/sun you are experiencing I cannot attest to its efficiency. Personally I would not cover my horses in anything. Lots of water, lots of shade, and fans is what I would do rather than covering them up. Sorry I can't offer more. Lesley

Are these regular cut or european cut??
A shopper on Jul 21, 2015
Best Answer: I don't know what cut, but it was too big in the chest for my 15h Arabian gelding I bought a 72. My Arab mare is smaller frame and is wearing a 70. It fits fine. the 70 was too small for my gelding. So that's why I went to a 72. Disappointing to say the least because my gelding still doesn't have a sheet that works.

How to measure for size when purchasing a fly sheet ?
A shopper on Jul 3, 2015
Best Answer: Stand your horse as square as possible. Measure from the center of the chest around the side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If your horse ends up measuring between sizes, choose the one closest to your measurement unless your horse is particularly big-bodied.
Measuring is usually best done with a helper and a soft or cloth measuring tape. Take the measurement twice to be sure.

how do you measure for fit?
A shopper on May 6, 2015
Best Answer: Measure your horse for the correct blanket size by following these easy guidelines:
1) Stand your horse square.
2) Place your measuring tape at the center of the chest.
3) Measure from the middle of the chest to the center of the tail one side. and that is the horse's blanket size.
