Both of our horses wear 82 size blankets. What size would you recommend getting; an 81 or 84? I do wish you sized every two inches, because this sounds like a great lightweight turnout.

Best Answer: I live in Flagstaff AZ which can get very cold. I bought a 78" roustabout for my mare who wears a 78. they tend to run just a little bit bigger, like a Weatherbeeta or a Rambo. But, if in doubt probably get the slightly larger size. My housemate's mare measured for a 76" and she got the 78" just to make sure it fit, and it fits beautifully. and that way, if you want to add a fleece under it, you'll have plenty of room.
