The leather is of quality and is supple after oiling, and is one of the comfiest saddles I've ridden in. The fit is fantastic, but fits a little wide, so prepare for that. I have it on a very high withered, sway backed 16.2HH Thoroughbred gelding. I bought a medium tree and need to use two thicker pads or it's too wide.
This saddle's also more Red than expected.
If you're buying this saddle, invest in a saddle cover and only ride in breeches, as jeans tend to rub the stitching above the pommel.
Over all, this is a great mid-level or schooling saddle. If you're looking for a quality saddle for schooling, mid level shows, training or pleasure jumping at an affordable price, this is a great purchase.
The saddle arrived with a slight knick in the seat, but it ships directly from the manufacturer, so it is of no complaint to Stateline.

My parents bought me this saddle 7 years ago. I've ridden in it for a long time and it is still slick. Its good if you are a beginner (aside from the fact that you are going to slide off a lot easier than any other saddle known to man) but the cantle is a lot higher than in this picture. It has caused me plenty of problems in my position that I was unaware of until I switched to a more balanced saddle. I don't recommend it, personally.

I have to say I was not impressed with this. It is comfortable and fits ok but I doubt it is even real leather, its really cheap and stiff. And once I put the stirrups on they started rubbing and the rub spots started to turn WHITE. And I could not get them to go away, thankfully they were hidden under my leg. I say dont but this unless your willing to buy a new one in a couple years.

I bought this aprox 3 years ago. Still comfortable to this day. The only gripe I would have about it is the coating on the leather. After 3 years of cleaning I am only now able to get any oil into it and now it is darkening allot. Dosent affect it in any way but would be nice to oil all of it and not just the areas where the coatuing has wore off. All it all you get what you pay for and if you are looking for perfect pay a little more but if your looking for a decent/good all round *beater* saddle this one is great

I bought this saddle hmm, about a year ago.. & i absolutly hate it. It fits me horribly. It places my legs infront of me.. & its shaped so funny. I have to hike the saddle so far up.. just to put the girth on. Its set so far back. and i have to try to sit forward because it places you back. DONT BUY IT.

I got this saddle as my first saddle when I was on lesson horses all the time and wanted something I could sit in a little more regularly (as in, didn't have to get used to a new saddle every week!). It did okay for that, but when I got my horse it fit him okay, but he refused to round under it. I've also found the higher I jump, the more it throws me forward. I would say this is okay for beginner saddle but definitely not good for someone looking to move up. It also took forever to break in and it's kind of slippery. The leather however has held up over the last five years.

I bought this saddle for my spotted draft mare (15.1 hands) and it fits her horribly. That and the leather feels and looks synthetic and is extremely uncomfortable when you ride in it for any length of time. I also discovered that this saddle encourages a chair-like position. I would not recommend this saddle to anyone.

It's not over-priced! Most saddles cost around $1000! This was only $300, and it looks great. My horse hates saddles. I used this one and she didn't attempt a bucking spree! It's great for me, too! Buy this saddle!

it does come in a different color then shown, but it is still gorgeous. I have had it for a little over a year and it still looks like new. Oils up nicely and great for jumping or flat work or showing in both, would recommend!

My father purchased this saddle about a year ago and it still looks as good as new! My horse had fallen on the saddle many times and it hasn't even been scratched. It is a little expensive, but so far it has lasted and it looks great! It fits all of my horses from a fat 14.0hh pony to a skinny 16.2hh Thoroughbred. I would recomend this saddle to anyone! Very flashy saddle!

This saddle is very attractive but lacks what i was looking for in a saddle. The knee flaps were too far forward and i had a hard time finding a horse that it fit. Its uncomfortable to ride in.

This was the first saddle I ever bought. I have ridden in other saddles and have found that none of them were nearly as comfortable as my Kincade! I have ridden dozens of different horses ranging from warmbloods to ponies and this saddle has fit every single one of them without a problem.

I got this saddle to start my young horse in, and its been a comfortable, easy to maintain saddle. I have seen older versions of the saddle that have not been taken care of, and even they have withstood the test of time! Great beginner saddle!

i got this saddle for my birthday. it is comforatible and has a great shape. however, the leather has very poor quality. it has scratches all over it and it is black and tearing away where the stirrup leathers lay. i have had this saddle for less than a year, and it is already falling apart.

Kincade makes the best saddles ever, but theres only one problem with them all. they get scratched up very easily! like when your wearing breeches or jeans with no pockets on the bottom, thats when they get scratched up the most!

I loved this saddle when I first bought it. I loved how it looked but once I got it on my horse it didnt fit any of them and i hated riding in it... It takes a certain horse and a certain person and I dont think its for the average.

I recieved this saddle for Christmas but have not yet used it as I do not own my own horse. I have heard that the leather dye rubs off on your breeches and stains them, but my trainer, who is a World Class Paint Horse trainer, said that these saddles work well and fit most horses. So as soon as I purchase stirrup leathers & irons I will definantly be taking this saddle to my lessons.

this saddle did not fit my horse, it rubbed her withers, the pomel comes above the back of the saddle, it was not a good jumping saddle. It does have very nice leather, the stiching of the billits were going to crack or wear down pretty easily.

Cant beat the quality at this price. I have bought two from State Line and both are holding up very well, even while being ridden in about 3 times a week. Fits ponys to warmbloods!
