Okay Product...NOT Show Quality, 2/24/2011

BetnTaz from Marion, NC

I bought this bridle in my local tack shop (and paid way more for it). I have an older Kincade bridle that I liked the color and the leather was good so I bought a second to use for shows. The leather is not very supple and is very still after conditioning and oiling. I accidently scratched it with my finger nail...and it made a mark! The bridle is true to size, though the flash is a bit big. The keepers do not stay in place. I will use this bridle for schooling at home and will be replacing with better quality. I only show at a couple Horse Trials at the Beg. Novice Level and some local Hunter shows, the bridle is fine for those...but I paid for a better quality that what I got.

good for starters/schooling, but not for much else, 4/11/2010

I bought this bridle in black about 6 months ago (my friend bought the brown one a few weeks prior and convinced me to get it), and when I bought it, I loved it! it was soft, well-padded, and looked nice on my horse. After the first ride, the PAINT on the bridle (yes it is PAINTED! even the brown one!) began to wrinkle and made the whole thing look ugly. Ever since, the condition of the bridle has deteriorated. he paint is flaking, the leather is drying out despite my conditioning every weekend, and the little tong on the buckle of the throatlatch has fallen off. The keepers are too big, so they slip out of place and don't do their jobs! if you're looking for a bridle to school in that you can abuse (and replace quickly) this i the one, although there are cheaper bridles that would serve the same purpose! PS IMO, the rubber reins are very chunky and heavy, and interfere with my feel on the reins. they are also painful to be firm with if the horse misbehaves

Nice, 6/18/2008

This bridle is enjoyed by every horse I have ridden with it. The only thing that bothers me is the leather that is not at all Leathery. I have had it for a while and condition it often but it doesnt seem to soften.

WOW..., 1/12/2008

Alisha from Ocala, FL

This bridle is perfect for my horse. Every other bride was too weak because he likes to jerk his head out of the bridle when I take it off. But this bridle doesnt break when he does this. It doesnt take very much care. It is an amazing bridle and I would reccommend this bridle for anyone!
