I bought this saddle and I really like it. It is nice quality and it does not scratch. I bought the brown one. It is lightweight and it has shiny buckles on the saddle and the headstall. The blanket is brown and white but I like it better and is a nice to. Overall this is a great deal! YOU SHOULD GET ONE.

I bought this saddle in early October as sort of a training saddle, not for anything in particular. I am a barrel racer and so I have my barrel saddles that cost me close to 1000 new, this is the BEST barrel saddle EVER. I know its not supposed to be a barrel saddle but it is. It has a high back tall cantel and horn, Its perfect. When your galloping it keeps you in the saddle and protects you. The only thing is the bridle sucks, just throw it away along with the girth and reins. The saddle pad could be used as a cover on your padded saddle pad but not as just the only pad. So I just put my neoprene cinch on the saddle and new stirrups ( the ones it came with SUCK) and Added my own leather bridle and breast collar. It actually goes very well with the light oiled leather bridle. I am actually buying another one in brown this time when I decided to write this review. I have the black right now I want the brown, I am also ordering one for my mom right now too because I am suprising her with a horse and she loves my saddle. Anyways this is my input. I bought the 15" saddle for my daughter for her first Xmas with her new horse. The full QH bars fit her 16h QH gelding perfectly, and the saddle is very comfortable to sit and easy to clean. With that said, the headstall is cheap nylon, and the bit is just pot metal, not even worth using. We replaced the cheap string cinch with a good neoprene one and bought a nicer headstall, and she was ready to train and show. We also had to buy a nice felt saddle pad, as the one included is just a thin, decorative blanket. Overall, it was a great purchase for the price and I would buy it again. Free shipping was a big incentive and the delivery time was only about 2 1/2 weeks.

This is a good saddle set. We have 3 horses, two large quarter horses (15.2/16hh) and one 14.2hh mustang. However, the saddle size and the bridle size does not match. The saddle fits perfectly on a stocky quarter horse. The saddle would fit a smaller horse as long as it has a big barrel. My mustang is too petit in the mid section to fit this well. It has a wide 'tree'. The saddle looks much better than it does in the picture. In real life, all the black matches, so the whole saddle is the same shade of black, which is nice. The blanket is like any normal blanket. It is not soft, and there is no padding. The bridle size was a big shocker. It would NOT fit on either of the quarter horses we have. It did, however, fit on my mustang, which works out great because he has an smaller (arabian?) size head and I was having a hard time finding him a bridle. The bridle does not look like the one in the picuture. There are no shiny parts on it. It is just a normal nylon bridle, but it is very strong and seems very well built. Overall, I think this product was a great buy, and I was very happy with. So far it has lasted over a year, and still has no major signs on wear on it. I would recomend it, but be aware that if your horse has a big head, the bridle will not fit.

Loved, loved, loved this saddle I took it on many trail rides and trained a few differant horses with it. Light and durable it held up in many conditions. Unfortunatly mine was stolen from my tack room and I will be getting another very soon. Thanks for a great durable saddle.

I have had this saddle for about 5 years and the people who I got it from had it for at least 2 years and I am only just now having to replace it. It is so comfortable and I will deffinately get another.

My mare and I both enjoy this saddle. She's a 4 year old appendix. So being half thoroughbred (And 4) She's on the small side width wise. But this saddle stays put on her! I wouldn't recommend buying this if you have a short-withered horse. It slides. But for my mare it's great. I could spend hours in this saddle!

I bought this saddle when I was 9 years old, it was my first saddle. I bought just the saddle and it was $400. But I trained 4 horses and trail rode DAILY in this saddle with absolutely no problems! As with every time I saddle my horse to ride I check all parts for safety (that could have been part of the problem with the customer with a broken girth dee) I sadly had to sell this saddle about a year ago after having it for 7 years (My butt got a little too big for a 14") and I have not found a saddle as comfortable since!

I worked at a riding stable over the summer and this is the saddle I used on my guide horse all summer. I spent 40-45 hours a week in the saddle and I couldn't have done it with a less confortable saddle. It lasted great, and riding stable work is not easy on saddles. It fit every horse I guided off of too(all QH type horses). As soon as I have the extra money I plan on getting one to use on my personal horses at home.

This saddle is dangerous. It is very cheaply made and certain parts are prone to breaking. I bought this saddle and never again will I make this mistake again. BUY AN ABETTA! What is a few more dollars versus your safety and LIFE! I bought this saddle for Christmas of 2008 and it seemed okay enough. Although I did not like the headstall, cinch or back cinch that came with it. I ignored my initial concerns and used it anyway... Big mistake! I was running with my horse one day and the front dee (the one that holds the cinch knot) broke! You can imagine what happened. I was thrown from my horse and knocked unconscious. This saddle is very dangerous and I would not recommend getting it unless you want to risk injury or death!

Pretty comfey, worth the money, didnt like the bit so I got a new one. I actually like the synthetic bridle. Reins could be a bit longer. The cinch sucks and always slips, so I'm going to buy a new one. Other than that, I like it. So does my very stocky 14.2 QH.

I received this saddle package a couple of days ago and just tried it on my horse today. My horse is a 4 year old Arabian who still has a little growing up to do. When I first put it on you could tell it was a terrible fit, it was far to wide and pinched. My trainer agreed that it was an awful fit, and she has been around horses about 35 years. I would reccomend this saddle more for quarter horses or just any horse who is more "wide." It is great quality and has an awesome price, but it's just not for Arabs. Also the blanket that came with it was grey, not blue like in the picture, but it and the bridal (excluding the bit, it is cheap) were a nice quality too.

I got this saddle in brown and it won't last me throught the end of the year. The brown leather is fading and turing black after 3 uses for about a hour. Invest in something that will last you longer. Cheap!!!

Very easy to care for but does have certain parts that can break easily, If taken cared for it will last a while, fits my quarter horse/arabian nicely. sizes run a little large (not seat size but width) Great 1st saddle pkg. Bit is cheap, I reccomend getting a different one with better quality

i went to camp and the saddle was very comfertable.i found out it was the same saddle and i had to commet. the horse i was on was soo slow so i kicked him and he ran realy fast!! the saddle was perfect and i knew i wasn't going to fall off

I bought my first one used from a friend of mine who I was helping to finish her young colts and I was using her saddle, needless to say I bought the King Series black saddle from her when we were done. Then for christmas the next year I got a new one from my husband and I use it everyday. So now I am about to buy my 3rd saddle and the hard part is to pick the color. I absolutely LOVE all 3 of my King Series Saddles.

I bought this saddle in January for my husband's birthday, we have both ridden in it extensively and it's just wonderful...it is comfortable even after hours of trail riding. The clean-up on it's great, and I have left it out in the rain several times with no ill effects. It fits all my horses from Arab to Qtr...I am very satisfied :)
