Rated 3 out of 5 by Love the saddle but has many flaws The weight is good, saddle is darker than i thought and my horse loves this saddle. The leather holding the D rings have already torn in half, broke on me while riding and the leather that holds the latigo broke on me while riding. The metal that is wrapped around the rawhide on the back is coming undone, the fuzz on the underside is sticking out in the back where they sowed the saddle. The sowing is coming undone. The hole where the back cinch attaches, you can literally pick though the layers from the "fuzz" to the packaging foam i think its what you call it, to another yellow layer, then the leather. The leather is still stiff and has even become darker :(. When i got this saddle it came with the back cinch and a belly strap. March 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by looking i have been looking for a nice barrel saddle for a while and this is about the best looking ones i have seen, i really like it. November 23, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty good for the price. I got this saddle for christmas last year and the color seemed a little darker than the picture shows, I got the light chestnut. after ten months, the stirrups snapped in half, the latigo broke off, and when the horn gets wet, the rawhide surrounding the concho peels back... also the roughout isn't really roughout and wears out and gets pretty slippery...... on the upside, my horse accepts it and doesn't seem to mind, and the detailing on the skirt looks good. It took ten months of hard riding for anything to fall apart. You might need to replace a few things if you get it though... October 31, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 no good granted this saddle is very beautiful and fit my 12yr old paint horse quite well, but it was very safe. i only had it for a month and used it about six times because i needed to buy a girth first, and the piece that holds the ladago (sorry for miss spelling) on broke while i was ridding!!!! all i do is ride on trails or the arena; deffinetly not safe to be a barrel saddle. and the rawhide started falling off the horn and back of the seat. also the suede on the sturrips gets extremly dirty. this saddle is too high maintance and not efficent at all! i sent it back.
