Rated 2 out of 5 by Not exactly what I expected. The saddle fit my high whithered arabian mare, but didn't fit me. The seat of the saddle was uncomfortable for me. I lunged my arabian in it and the back of the saddle kept flapping up and down and hitting her back. You definatlly will need a rear cinch with this saddle. The stirrups where EXTREMELY hard to ajust, my stepdad couldn't even do it and he works out every morning in the gym! The stirrups wouldn't budge! On the bright side: The leather was very nice! The rings where very sturdy! And the sadddle looks way more expencive than the price! Not that great of a saddle if you want it for ridding, but if you want something pretty to look at, get it. Rated 2 out of 5 by Was alright but not what I'd hoped Absolutely beautiful saddle (I got the one with tooled leather but is same exact saddle). It was very comfortable. However my horse felt very stiff under it and it sits really high up off the horse. It never really felt like it shaped to her at all. Also do not buy this saddle if you are under 5'8". I am 5'1" and trying to adjust the stirrups for my height was ridiculous and when riding was very hard on my knees because the leather just doesn't flex November 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very happy with my purchase! I was worried because purchasing something like this online is risky- and horse.com does not cover return shipping which I imagine is huge with a 35lb item. When I opened the box, I was really impressed with the quality, far better than I hoped! It is beautiful, the hardware is really nice, and the leather is soft and thick. Once I got to try it out, I fell in love. There is a slight spring in the stirrups from the foam and the seat is super comfortable. I have a 14 hand Arab with med-high withers and it fits her perfectly! March 22, 2011
