I used these on my 2 horses last summer and this summer and they are great. They keep the flys off so I do not have to use as much fly spray and they helped keep my horse clean too.

I have used these Kool Coat sheets on my horses for five years. I have bought for friends, great price and they stay on all summer hot or not. They dont sweat under them and stay clean and they are truly durable. I know there are horses who destroy any blanket but mine are on turnout 24/7 and these last.

This blanket is good quality but it's just too hot. I used it on 3 horses on a sunny mid 80's day and they came in sweaty. I think it's too heavy for a fly sheet.

It helps so much with mosquitoes and flys. This is the second summer of him wearing it and he rolls and runs in it on 24/7 turnout and not a tear yet! even in upper 90° weather he does not sweat! I'm so happy with this product!

I have used this blanket for the last three years on my predominantly white paint mare. (the whole herd, actually). It fits well, and certainly keeps her clean and relieves worry about sunburn. Because she wears them 24 hours a day, I go through about two to three a year. The only issues I have are:
1.) that it does rub the mane off over her withers and neck.
2.) the buckles on the leg straps are prone to breaking.
3.) the plastic sewn over the top of the gussets are prone to tearing off.
I do recommend this product, overall pleased with the quality and durability.

This is an update.I have to leave the blanket on my paint mare so she won't burn, even when its really hot.It was 103 yesterday and I took her blanket off around 8 pm and she wasn't sweaty or wet anywhere.The blanket wasn't even wet.She wears it everyday it doesn't rain,out in the feild where there are trees and fences and only 2 snags, that I repaired easly.Definatly worth buying.

This fly sheet is great. washes really easily, and its durable. doesn't rub on my horses shoulders, like most fly sheets do. tends to run about 2 inches too large. but otherwise, great product!

I bought two of these blankets. I read the reviews and a couple suggested to get a bigger size. I did get two inch bigger for both and it worked out fine. Both blankets fit. I bought one for my paint who sunburns and the other for a black horse to keep him dark so we'll see how it goes. Much better fit than the lycra blanket covers the cheeks! No more sunburn cheeks!!!! I don't know how the duribilty will be, because it's not sunny enough yet to leave them on.
