LOVE IT!, 12/30/2012

I love this bit. My horse takes it easily and loves to chomp on it when I ride. One thing I don't like is that you have to wash this bit off after every ride and after a while it rusts. But my riding instructor told me that horses like the sweet taste of rust too and that the rust doesn't hurt them in any way! I was happy about that, but I really don't like the orange color on the sides of my Quarter Horse's mouth. But other than that, this bit is excellent and I also like it better because this bit is nicer to horses!

I personally love full cheeks, and this one for being the cheapest on the site is great quality! My only complaint is it looks like the "sweet iron" is rubbing off?

Love This Bit, 1/30/2012

English/Western Rider from Minnesota

I love it. It works for the English and Western disciplines. I like that the mouth piece is sweet iron. Almost every horse I'v ridden likes it. But I would only use it on horses who's mouth gets dry and rubs.

this is a good bit but the actaul sweet iron rubs off.....(weird) my horse like the chew on bits and i think my mare caused it..but this is a good bit for the price i will be getting another sometime.

What A Great Bit, 11/16/2011

I have a Thoroughbred who has a very floppy jelly like mouth and his bits would just fall out of his mouth. Now all he does is keep his mind on keeping in it's like a game of his now! He plays with it everyday when we are riding!

I bought this bit sometime ago and it is great! A loose ring snaffle bit kept going in my horse's mouth and was hard use the leading rein with. My horse was young so it is good to start off with the leading rein. This bit stay in the right place and was easy on his mouth like a loose ring snaffle. My horse is happy and so am I.

this bit gives you more controll without puting too much presue on your horses mouth. it puts the presure in the cheek.
