Product Summary:

Kills and repels mosquitoes that may transmit West Nile Virus. Provides both quick knockdown and residual control. Also repels and kills face flies, stable flies and house flies. Contains two insecticides and two repellents. Also includes aloe, lanolin and PABA sunscreen. Can be used on horses, ponies and foals. Lasts up to 14 days.

Directions For Use:
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Use Only In Well Ventilated Area. Hold Bottle In Upright Position When Spraying.

For initial treatment, apply daily for 2-3 days. After initial application, retreatment would be appropriate one to two times weekly. Also reapply every time horse is washed or exposed to heavy rain.


Horses, Ponies And Foals:
Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application, to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a shampoo. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying spray. Cover entire surface of horse with spray, but avoid getting product into horse's eyes or other sensitive areas such as mouth or nose. Brush coat against grain while spraying to ensure adequate penetration of product.

As a wipe, apply liberally with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure spray has completely dried before covering with any tack.


Not for use on horses intended for slaughter.

Humans:
Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes or on clothing. Wear protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses). Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Do not smoke while using.

Animals:
Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Avoid treatment of foals under 6 weeks of age unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for animals. If signs of sensitivity occur, bathe the animal with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant, or nursing animals.

Environmental Hazards:
This product is toxic to fish. Do not apply directly to water. Do not apply where runoff is likely to occur.

Physical Or Chemical Hazards:
FLAMMABLE. Keep away from heat and open flame. Contains alcohol. Do not apply to painted or finished wood surfaces.

Storage And Disposal:
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage:
Store in original container in a cool, dry place, inaccessible to children and pets. Do not store near heat or open flame.
If Empty - Do not reuse this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.

Love the smell of this spray. It lasts a decent amount of time and I love that it has sunscreen in it for my horses pink nose. No fly spray is all that great, but this one definitely helps for trail rides and humid days when the flies are abundant.

I bought this product at my local tack store because I really needed fly spray and they were out of what I normally buy. I was sold from the first squirt. Not only does this stuff repel, but it kills. The flies stay FAR away from the horse once it's been applied. We ride our horses out by a creek where the mosquito are plenty and with this stuff they don't touch the horses. Gone are the days of using actual human bug spray (Off) and hello my new favorite product on the market!! Just hold your breath when you spray it, it smells horrid, like alcohol, probably why it works so well. Its not sweat proof, but it smells so awful I'm quite certain they could sweat it all off and the lingering smell alone would deter them.

Best fly spray I've used., 7/8/2012

My horse has never liked being sprayed. He was being a pain about me putting it on. After I applied it, I left, and came back an hour later. There was not a fly within five feet of him and he was so happy. Now that he sees what it does, he trots over to me every time he sees it. I'm serious haha. I think it works great. It smells pretty decent too. Like medicated oranges, but still better than other products. I'd actually pay $30 for this stuff if i had to, it would actually be worth it. I highly recommend it.

Seriously, Buying this is a life saver. I refuse to use any other spray. This little black bottle takes care of everything. No tail action, foot stomping here. This works for a few days also. Any insects just hate this and it also kills on contact. Seriously don't waste you money on anything else. Buy it, you wont regret it. Oh yeah , it keeps his coat nice and shiny also!!

This stuff works when nothing else will! I usually use Endure and save this for when the bugs are really bad. The smell is pretty strong which the horses don't care for but once calms down it kinda smells like calogne. Last time I tried to order it said sale was restriceted to Indiana :( not sure why??

My huband and I have tried many different pest control sprays, and this is the only one that works! Our horse is near a pond in the barn's backyard and near Pratts Wayne Woods, which also has alot of wetlands, therefore mosquitoes are everywhere! This product works on ALL types of pest and we would NOT use anything else. People who have used our spray are converted to using Mosquito Halt every time! We have been using Mosquito Halt for years!!!

Although well stated in product directions on bottle, this product is not water or sweat proof. However, if its a cool dry time of year, this product works better than most and can last several days. It smells of citronella, which is pleasant, but I had to reapply after every ride or washrinse once she was mostly dry.
