Windproof, waterproof and fully seam-sealed, these pants are designed for the rider who needs extra protection from the elements.  They are specially designed with two-way full length zippers so you can easily get them on over bulky under layers.  They feature ergonomically shaped knees that are double reinforced for; Reflective piping for night visibility; Faux leather full seat for extra grip; and adjustable waist and elastic foot straps.

These pants are roomy enough for a layer underneath and are warm and comfortable. They're long enough to keep that cold air from creeping up my legs. Thanks again Cold Mountain for making great riding products!

Great winter riding pants, 1/5/2013

I have worn these pants for several seasons now. All I do is throw on a pair of Under Armor long johns with them and I am good to go for long hours in the cold. They wash up well too. Generally will dry overnight while hanging.

Love these pants, 12/26/2012

I wore these pants all last winter at least twice a week. They still look and work like new. Loping without the foot straps allows the legs to scooch up, but the straps fix that.

Great Winter Riding Pants, 10/24/2012

Mountain Horse winter riding pant from Verbank, NY

I get cold easily, but if the footing is good, I can ride all winter in these pants. Warm and comfortable, fits great with enough room to mount from the ground or do anything else with complete freedom. Not heavy like some winter gear. Also great for working around the barn. Legs are a little long, but that is not unusual for me and not a real problem. My favorite extreme cold weather riding pants!
