I have 6 horses all of which are different sizes - I love the rope halters so I don't always have to switch halters to grab a different horse. The nice part is even my 7 year old daughter can tie the knot.

I personally prefer the old style halter, but it sure seems like everyone else likes the rope halter better, so that's what I've been in the market for. The color selection is excellent and with your low prices, we can actually color coordinate these days!! Thank you for that! No longer the "Rainbow Ranch"!

Why isn't there an all black one?
Emily M on Jan 27, 2015
Best Answer: Wish there was, I would have bought it. The brown and black is the subtlest color. It is twice as much though. The red is very bright but will do fine for training and will get dirty as it is used. Great quality though.

so can you take the lead off at all and just have the halter on?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2014
Best Answer: No you can't at least not quickly. You would have to untie. But for my horse it has worked well. He had a bad habit of wanting to pull and this has curtailed it.
