This stuff works wonders on rain-rot! I own 2 horses that are genetically prone to it. Just rub all the hair and scabs off, and apply this a few times a week, clears it up fast and makes the hair grow back faster!

I love this stuff! It keeps dust and debris out of wounds and disinfects. Once the cut heals you can put it on the scar and the hair even grows back! Love, love, LOVE!!

I have been through two rounds of traumatic lesions on my horse, Red Man.... once after he was tangled in some barbed wire and once when he got a huge cut on his penis... his penis was so swollen he could not pull it up into the sheath. It was the size of a football and infected. Both times I used Fura-Zone and had astounding results... best product I have found for small or large cuts !! Nice to have handy for all the animals :)

This stuff is amazing. My horse had a cut on his hock, and we just couldn't get it to heal! So my trainer gave me some of this to try... About a week later the cut is gone!! If i were you I would get it:D

When I first bought Comet, he had an abscess in his toe. The feed shop was out of Ichthammol, but they suggested this. It was doing SO much better the next day, and within a week, I could ride him again!
Also, I used when Comet got some mysterious allergy that looked like a chemical burn from some spray I had been using. I just used this and some Swat to keep the flies off, and it was doing amazingly better the next day!
A great thing to just have around, whether you think you need it or not.

My horse had rain-rot for the first time in 6 years, so everything I had to treat it was outdated. I went to my local feed/tack/hardware store and asked if they had Iodine soap/scrub to treat rainrot, they said no but handed this to me, and said try this. I picked off all his scabs, and put this over each one, which is so much easier to do then sprays and my horse liked it better since it was 20 degrees outside and he didn't have to get wet. I put this on every-other-day for a week and a half. the sores closed up and it was like he never had, that spring his coat grew back with no spots missing, I'm very greatful for this. I hope to be able to use it for other cuts he might get in the future.

I'm sure other products work as well, but this one is the easiest to apply. Sprays get everywhere and the noise can scare my off-track Arabian, and the dust is really difficult to aim. This stuff is easy to glob on with a finger.

This furazone is wonderful. I couldnt ride for a will so i stayed home and waited. 2 months passed and when i went to see my horse, he was pretty beat up. i used some furazone on him, and within about 1 week, 16 scars were healed. I applied it once a day on every scar. It was barely noticeable, and it healped fast letting my horses scars be healed and new hair grow

My vet recommended this to me, it is wonderful stuff for a great price, aids in the treatment of scratches without causing irritation or sting to the horse.
